Fearnley loses the first set to Zverev.
Norrie v Djokovic is scheduled for 24hrs from now it seems.0 -
Zverev wins 6-4 6-4 6-40
-
Fearnley definitely needs to work on his serve - lots of double faults. Seems to suffer badly from nerves...0

He's only been on tour and out of college 15 months and has had an impressive rise up the rankings - but he's competing with the big boys now0 -
Raducanu second best so far.0
-
this is an absolute battering at the moment0

Rybakina about to serve for it at 6-1 5-2.
Emma never really been in this unfortunately.0 -

But Rybakina is ranked considerably higher - for a reason. But after her close matches against Sabalenka, I'd hoped she would make more of a fight of it1 -
Very disappointing.1
-
Rybakina was so cool and dismissive and never gave Raducanu a sniff. I could see her winning the title as I don't think she'll be over concerned about facing Sabalenka, if and when that happens, given she beat her in straight sets just two weeks ago.0

-

US Open singles QFs…
[1] Sinner v [10] Musetti
[25] Auger-Aliassime v [8] de Minaur
[7] Djokovic v [4] Fritz
[20] Lehecka v [2] Alcaraz
[1] Sabalenka v Vondrousova
[4] Pegula v Krejcikova
[11] Muchova v [23] Osaka
[8] Anisimova / [18] Haddad Maia v [2] Swiatek2 -
Pleased for Anisimova, beating Swiatek has to exorcise the demon of losing 6-0, 6-0 to her in the Wimbledon final, at least a bit.1

Sabalenka beats Pegula in three sets. Osaka leads Anisimova by a set.
In the men’s doubles, Salisbury / Skupski are into the final.0 -
Anisimova won in 3 - hope she wins the final but think Sabalenka will.0
-
For the third grand slam in a row, on three different surfaces, we have a Sinner v Alcaraz final in the men’s draw. The winner will be the new world no. 1.
Alcaraz beat Djokovic in three sets. Sinner beat Auger-Aliassime in four sets.1 -
Billy Harris wins the Cassis Open - his first Challenger Event victory.3
-
Alcaraz deservedly wins 6-2, 3-6, 6-1, 6-42
-
Appreciate Sinner wasn't at the same standard as he was in the Wimbledon final, but Alcaraz is such a talent, these two could break so many records.
I'd like a third player to emerge to challenge them though - those two reaching every final.could make it samey!1 -
Six grand slams for Alcaraz at age 22 - pretty amazing.1
