Hamlet won 2-0, v Canvey Island to make it 4 out of 4 and top of the league.  Whitehall away tomorrow.

Should be able to make Welling at home on 6th September as no clash with Charlton.

Dartford down to 9 men at Ramsgate (who are down to 10). That's four red cards in 3 away games for the Darts, which suggests a terrible lack of discipline. Really bad start for the Darts thus far.

9 versus 10 by the end. A bizarre 4-4 draw

  • My local team play in FA Cup Preliminary round on  Sunday. The play at the World's Oldest Football Ground, Sandygate. They are newly promoted and play in the Northern Premier League. Had attendance of 826 on Monday against Blyth Town, so going in the right direction.

Welling beat Uxbridge in the FA Cup, they were 1-0 down in the 85th minute, and won 2-1.

My son had to pay £30 to get an UBER from Ealing due to Liz line failing.
Quite a few supporters stuck at Paddington so didn’t make it.

A 90+6 equaliser earns Dartford a draw at Bracknell Town.

Interestingly in the FA Cup qualifying round, there are still replays.

Interesting game at Champion Hill where Whitstable were their FA Cup opponents.  After Whitstable made a lively start Hamlet took control and went 2-0 up, cue Hamlet player gets sent off on the stroke of half time. Whitstable then pull back to 2-2. Hamlet's10 men become 9 men with a further sending off but a lifeline .. a penalty for Hamlet which is squandered, still 2-2. Times up, well almost. Just as bloke next to me says it's not extra time and penalties but a replay, Whitstable decide its not even a replay with the penultimate kick of the game they score and Whitstable win 3-2

Watched Bath City lose 2-1 at home to Dorking yesterday and have both their keepers sent off. Lots of Dorking shithousery on show, but sendings off were the right calls. The second sending off was in the last few mins and forced Bath to stick a midfielder in goal in place of the outgoing sub keeper.

Assuming Bath will be ok the the phone to Bristol City and Bristol Rovers academies to get a youngster in on a temp loan for Tuesday nights game versus Maidenhead.

Ebbsfleet taken over by an Irish led consortium, finally ending the KEH period.

Dartford lost the replay 2-0. An awful start to the season.

Last Saturday: Aldershot away at Gateshead

4 days later (Wednesday) Aldershot away at Truro City

The National League were taking the piss there when they arranged those fixtures and even worse they are away at Carlisle next Saturday

Gets them out of the way i guess. Better this time of year than January. But yes taking the piss.

Wow, that's a massive drop down the leagues, considering he was playing on loan at Wimbledon last season.

Not just that, but you have those games in January, you could have a wasted journey

Big crowd over champion hill. I guess there are no Palestine marches planned for today?

The usual red card in the Dartford game,  but shockingly it went to a Canvey player right at the death.

Maybe we just wanted to see Hamlet beat Welling and we did! You really do seem to have a problem with Hamlet!

Maybe I just want to watch football without having to endure political statements.
WTF were that couple doing walking around with Palestine Capes on?
It is a football match FFS.
Perhaps if your supporters actually went to watch the game, rather than it being a Tristan and Tarquin social gathering, I might be less frustrated with them.
Will see the few hundred that actually support the club at PVR. That leaves the other few thousand to organise a Saturday jolly/demo of some discript.

Oddly Bath are the only team to complain about Dorking shithousery. They said the same thing last season despite Clarke falling over half a dozen times in the first half alone and their own goalkeeper wasting more time than DW keeper. Honestly find it fascinating to see this perception across a sizeable chunk of the crowd.

As if to highlight that one's perception cannot necessarily be trusted - the second red was absolutely not the correct decision.

That's a shocker, a shame that they could have not played Carlisle on the Tuesday.  That might have been more practical for the club.
Respect to any fans that go to all three.
