Looks like a celebrating Southend fan might have injured the winning pen scorer in the celebration!4 -

Can anyone else remember an incident where three Charlton players were celebrating a goal, and a fan came on, slipped, and wiped all of them out? Pretty sure it was away from home in the Championship in the 90s.1

There is a natural pecking order when it comes to football clubs. There will be EFL clubs who have a disastrous time and drop out of the league, but given sensible management they often return0

Delighted for Southend0

Chuffed for Sarfend, spent many happy years as a kid down there, Nathan Jones will be pleased too. Still can't believe that Bonne is still earning a wage down there though!1

Southend will take loads to this
I’ve told my mates I’ll only commit after Sunday not sure I could face going back to Wembley a week after getting beat1 -

Mark Hughes will be staying on at Carlisle for example. Parky has taken Wrexham up from NL to the Championship, Challinor dropped back down to the NL to take over Stockport, Paul Cook went back to NL Chesterfield after leaving Ipswich etc

Did a player play who should've been suspended? Clearly the answer was yes, so how on earth has it taken so long to resolve?0 -

Depending on our fixtures, aiming to go to Lewes v Welling Utd next season, my mate works for Welling on match days and we are going to base ourselves in Brighton for the weekend, Lewes is a beautiful town to visit.3

robust challenge. could be a red, close call but i'v seen them given.
Great slide tackle by a Maidstone fan against a taunting Boreham Wood fan after Boreham Wood's promotion on Sunday

Southend had expected to take 30,000 to Wembley but no. Engineering works at Wembley Park so limited allocation of 17,500 for both clubs! Protestations are underway.

Petition for anyone interested.

(I would hope the Mayor would re-direct TFL in this which might mean a different petition or representations to the Mayor's office might also be effective)0 -
I don’t get why the National League aren’t getting more heat from this on here compared to the EFL. Their play-off final isn’t wedded to Wembley Stadium - why couldn’t it have been played somewhere else?1

Southend have sold 28,852 for Wembley today. Oldham taking 20,832.
It will be a record crowd for a non-league play off final and i'm glad they saw sense after the stupid initial ticket restrictions.3 -
