Can anyone else remember an incident where three Charlton players were celebrating a goal, and a fan came on, slipped, and wiped all of them out? Pretty sure it was away from home in the Championship in the 90s.

There is a natural pecking order when it comes to football clubs. There will be EFL clubs who have a disastrous time and drop out of the league, but given sensible management they often return

With the 1-up system, and the National League being 95% full time, and 40% being ex-football league clubs, getting out of non-league is now an incredibly difficult thing to do.
Chuffed for Sarfend, spent many happy years as a kid down there, Nathan Jones will be pleased too. Still can't believe that Bonne is still earning a wage down there though!

The NL is basically Division 5 now, rather than a sign of football oblivion, as shown by the calibre of managers willing to drop down.
Mark Hughes will be staying on at Carlisle for example. Parky has taken Wrexham up from NL to the Championship, Challinor dropped back down to the NL to take over Stockport, Paul Cook went back to NL Chesterfield after leaving Ipswich etc
I’ve told my mates I’ll only commit after Sunday not sure I could face going back to Wembley a week after getting beat
Weird how the NL final is the final domestic game of the season. I guess it's perfect timing to attract neutrals desperate for one final game before the summer!

Getting paid is not synonymous with earning a wage
Starting the play offs more than a month after the season finished is crazy.
Did a player play who should've been suspended? Clearly the answer was yes, so how on earth has it taken so long to resolve?
Appeals. Two investigations, two appeals, two decisions. Should have been fast tracked really. It's a bit much that Whyteleafe went through every booking for Redhill and managed to find one (the referee had failed to put it in the system and Redhill didn't notice). The Redhill gaffer was basically saying to me that the knock-on effect will be them looking at every other clubs' bookings to find one that impacted the season lol presumably he couldn't be bothered to actually do it. Don't blame him! Hope they win the play-offs now.
Depending on our fixtures, aiming to go to Lewes v Welling Utd next season, my mate works for Welling on match days and we are going to base ourselves in Brighton for the weekend, Lewes is a beautiful town to visit.
Southend had expected to take 30,000 to Wembley but no. Engineering works at Wembley Park so limited allocation of 17,500 for both clubs! Protestations are underway.

(I would hope the Mayor would re-direct TFL in this which might mean a different petition or representations to the Mayor's office might also be effective)
I don’t get why the National League aren’t getting more heat from this on here compared to the EFL. Their play-off final isn’t wedded to Wembley Stadium - why couldn’t it have been played somewhere else?

Looks like a celebrating Southend fan might have injured the winning pen scorer in the celebration!
