Thanks in advanceThere is no general sale and restricted home area sales as they can’t trust away fans not to get in home end.
Secondly, some people won’t being kids, elderly etc due to perceived threat of Millwall fans behaviour in and around the ground.
Also, the way it has been policed in the past (when we couldnt even get to the station after the game) puts people off.
No offense intended.1 -
Loads of train issues that day thamslink and Brighton trains not stopping at London Bridge, plus other engineering work going on. Will be carnage will all those going on the March too.0

@guinnessaddick did you shift yours?0

surely we should give the scum the upper west cos we can't fill it with home fans , just like qpr should give us more of their seats cos they haven't sold out home areas ... that's how it works isn't it4

Only three of the six Valley Express routes have places remaining, and these appear limited in number.0

Can this maybe partially be an early match preview thread?
I'm just going to try and get a ticket at the ground on the day - as long as its not in the jimmy seed stand. I wana sit down with a bovril, programme & muffin and don't want close proximity to burbrey hats and shouting.
I hope a few players really impress Jones in training and they are very eager to get on the pitch and prove themselves like their life depends on it.
I hope to expect the unexpected.
Need a few fresh changes as I think we now have a significant confidence knock.
Lets do some work on deadline day and loan in an under 21s potential star from Arsenal or Chelsea0 -

I doubt it will be a 100% sellout. Can't see that happening. There will be space available in the corners of the east and west.1

I'm receiving an upgraded washing machine on the 13th and looking forward to it because my current washing machine has mould on it. They will also get rid of the old one.
Charlton through and through but I'd rather get that out the way prior to heading towards the valley.
If I'm in a que and pay a bit extra, so be it.11 -
Pretty sure nobody was expecting that as the reason28

Put the old one outside the away end, some of them will be grateful of a wash.

Opposite to Dave really as i have a fully functioning set of white goods currently. I did have some initial sniffles when the fixture list came out but hasn't developed yet into the September flu i usually get. There is still time for that but tickets were selling fast so i jumped in and bought one.
Unfortunately it is very close to the away end (West, H block) so now i'm wondering how best to handle the situation on the day. I like to wear a bright top and cords on matchday but that could be stupid unless the top is reversible. And it might turn out too warm on the day. Otherwise this would be ideal, but not available in my size currently-

What's everyone else thinking of wearing?
Also will there be a police presence in that corner? Did anyone notice against Leicester? I think 3 rows deep would be a comforting number, but i'm not sure they'd all be able to watch the game unless there was some kind of portable terrace for them to stand on in that corner. That would be preferable to them watching the crowd for 90 minutes. Cannot stand being stared at by OB at the football!4 -

If it's serious I think you're old enough to decide what clothes to wear.
Generally speaking police officers (apart from maybe the viewing box) haven't been in football grounds for donkeys years.
Everyone uses stewards.
The Millwall fans inside The Valley are probably all S/T holders and follow the team all over to gain enough "points", so I don't expect them to be too bad (famous last words).2 -
Most of the scum fans that think they're still hard as nails now have Freedom Passes and replacement hips2

True the weather is about as unpredictable as any other part of this event. That's why an early autumn flu is still on the cards for many unfortunately. At the moment there are still a lot of empty seats in block H. It may not be too difficult to slip away in to another part of the stand should the need arise.
But yes, plenty of stewards and Millwall fans about as scary as a toothless and hairless Gollam these days is reassurance, thanks.0 -
There will also be loads of empty seats so just move more central.0
