Southampton sign Danish U21 fullback Elias Jelert on loan from Galatasaray0 -
Mental that a team who are L2/L1 at best historically with a crap ground and capacity of 13,000 can spend that sort of money on the Championship.2

Their success is based on a TV show that won’t last forever. Because quite simply every entertainment format runs out of road in the end.
when that revenue vanishes they will be fucked6 -

100pc this will come to an end at some point. Look at Blackburn….. they are a much bigger club than Wrexham but even their time was up in the end4 -

Think it's more likely it's Sheaf anchoring instead of Matty James0

https://x.com/danielmarsh92/status/1958580401309450248?s=46&t=A-w3Eq0EWWpjMxring904QWould be absolutely gutted if Ivanovic went but I just can’t see it. We have him on a recently signed 3 year contract and have no reason to sell.Ivanovic going no where according to his uncle on twitter.Alfie will be back , but in the meantime we’ve got good cover for that position.Delightful indeed 😊
Football fees are ridiculous right now, and i wonder how long it will be before we see the next club crashing and burning due to financial issues. It definitely won't be you though, Flemming, Esse and Tanganga must be 30m in incomings over the past year now?A lot of people were taking the piss out of us for having such a low buy out clause with Tanganga, but having that clause was the only way he would’ve signed in the first place and as it happens, that was only for PL clubs. None of who showed an interest, so really worked in our favour in the end. And a very low risk gamble for us as we signed him on a free anyway. It was a no brainer really. And yes about 30 million for those three players. Ivanovic will be worth at least half that himself at the end of this season. It’s good because the money is always being reinvested in the team where as in the past when we sold one of our star players the money would just get lost in the running costs of the club. They’re building the shit out of Bermondsey. We’re on 3 jobs in the biscuit factory and there’s loads more to come. Nearly all the industrial units behind Ilderton Road are flats or are going to be. God knows who wants to live there. But the Chinese need some where to hide their money eh?0 -

I know they have issues, bur it's amazing that Leicester have reached the final day of the window, having signed nobody other than a backup keeper.2
