  • Here you go @Braziliance. I didn't check @Crispywood's ratings so any inaccuracies blame them

Very good, Asiimwe doing very well then and the stats match the rave reviews.

Dare I say we may have a ready made replacement for Kayne Ramsay when he inevitably leaves?

I’d think Z.Mitchell would get that opportunity to replace Ramsay if he goes rather than Asiimwe purely because Asiimwe is much better attacking than defensively but he does provide an option to cover Apter next season or can always sell him on for a very good fee and big sell on clause.

All the ratings I used were based off league performance I refuse to let players stat pad in the pizza/carling/tyre whatever it’s called trophy

  • Really interesting thread thanks

    After today, no thank you.
  • Asiimwe was rested but came on for the final 20 in a 2-1 loss to Reading, Mitchell started for Plymouth where it's 1-1 in the 90th min
  • Bower played yesterday in a 3-1 defeat and Casey was an unused sub.

Think I’ve horribly got it wrong how good I thought he was wouldn’t be surprised if he joins this loans thread before the end of the window
  • Z Mitchell, did well jn Scotland, looked decent, now playing in a slightly different formation, mot ready for it, needs an extra stone of muscle.

Was at Worthing Vs Maidstone, had ex Charlton keeper Nathan Harness in goal too. Was hoping to see Casey get some mins but wasn't called upon.

Crazy game with 2 goals in injury time.

He missed a one-on-one with the keeper to win it for them.

Really good spatial awareness for the pn, wish the contact hadn't come as would have loved to see him put his boot through that. Think it's a soft pen but one the ref is always going to give. The miss at the end is unforgivable, great movement again but to not get a clean shot away is shocking.

Interestingly he seems to be playing as a second striker from those highlights which bodes well for his return
  • Good to win the pen, the chance at the end is a bit like how he was for the u21s last season on the streams I saw - scored some real poachers goals, but missed other chances due to a lack of composure or poor decision making.

Hopefully it’s something he improves as the season goes on. It’s a good example of where he is at the moment and why he’s not in our first team.

I wouldn’t be surprised if things start to click for him later on in the season, and he’s a bit more inconsistent to start with.
  • Dixon needs to keep it simple when one-on-one.

Anyone who has watched Dixon in the U21s will have seen him miss plenty of good chances.

Yes, he scored a lot too but a lot of misses too,
As the saying goes “You have to be there to miss them”.

Clive Allen was prolific but he admits he only scored once out of every four or five chances. He had some wonderful players around him too.
