Jeez, what a strike0
-
What a goal, that is outrageous0
-
Brilliant goal, totally out of place with the rest of the match.

Some goal. You don't save free kicks like that. Been second best for most of the game.0
-
Cheating Palace c**t.2
-
Who needs TAA when you have Szoboszlai?0
-
"Liverpool v Arsenal was the lowest xG game of the last three Premier League seasons."0
-
Best player on the pitch won the game with an absolute worldy.

You wont see a better free kick than that.0
-
Terrible game but that was some free kick.
We've seen in the last few games that Liverpool haven't looked good at all defensively and i thought Arsenal would go for it. But as is often the case with Arteta he went with safety first and set them up with Merino in attacking midfield and left most of their creativity on the bench. Yes they were the better side in the first half but i wouldn't say they created much and i can't really remember Alisson being tested.

Villa have looked absolutely dreadful so far this season. Emery needs a big second half performance here.0
-
Only watched the first half of Liverpool game and Arsenal looking control apart from one incident0
-
Sometimes I hate football1

Got to say, on this showing, Villa have got a long season in front of them, they are dreadful.0

Surely Liverpool gonna go all out for Guehi tomorrow. If that’s not his last goal / action for Palace then they’re losing him for nothing in a few months2
-
Guehi came across as a very nice articulate young man in the post match interview.0
-
Quite a contrast between Guehi and Isak. One goes on strike to get his move to Liverpool, the other keeps playing, and scores the night before deadline day.5
-
130m fee agreed for Isak and he will have his Liverpool medical today.
A bad situation all round really.
Bad that it had to end the way it did.
Badly managed by both the player and his agent (see the post above about Guehi).
Bad that the player eventually gets his own way.
Bad because it shows to other players in the future that you can just go on strike and eventually the club will have to give in because they can't just write off a huge transfer fee.4 - Sponsored links:

It will never happen but be good if rich owners just told the player that he's not leaving and can see his contract out not playing for the club, not being loaned out just in the wilderness. See how the player feels then when he's got a few years left on his contract.0

In the modern world of PSR restrictions everyone knew Newcastle weren't going to throw away 130m on top of the 120k a week they'd be paying him to do nothing.2 -
Wont be surprised to see Wissa going to Newcastle today as a result.
Saw on reddit that he'd posted an unhappy comment on Social Media himself saying that the club were refusing to simply let him leave for Newcastle... Why he couldn't just do it privately and had in a Transfer Request...2 -
So Newcastle get Wissa for Isak, one trouble maker for another?1
-
Funny that Liverpool fans think Trent Alexander-Arnold was out of order for leaving at the end of his agreed contract, but are fine with Isak forcing his way out of Newcastle.3

I’d like to see a club deduct wages or take legal action for breach of contract (I know nothing about the law in this respects however)1 -

Man U sign Senne Lammens as their new keeper. Not sure where that leaves Emi Martinez.1 -

Granted everyone thought £25m was taking the piss for Wissa, the Georgies have now bid £55m.0
