  • What has this idiot got against us?
  • Tim still smarting after we dismantled them 4 nil at their place all those years back...the twat!
  • I’ve seen lots of people saying it was amateurish to leave it this late etc. but in reality a lot of clubs would’ve only allowed there players on loan over the past few days if not hours. If multiple clubs are in for a player it will be some negotiation which takes time.
Wonder if the fact multiple clubs were linked; Charlton, Celtic, Preston made it an issue too

Can multiple Data Sheets be submitted for a player? - We "know" that a Data Sheet went in for him to move to Celtic, as that Sky journalist had him on the list, if he's rejected that move... Could submitting a new Data Sheet in time to join us, have been the issue, as the first may have to be cancelled, then ours get subm-Oh shit out of time.

Although saying that, I'm not sure why there needed to be a Data Sheet to Celtic in the first place, as their window closed at 11pm.

I reckon he got back to London too late.
Starting off in Glasgow, then stops off in Preston and gets a knock back, Preston to London is a trot as well.

Especially as he was going by National Express 🚍

Not sure this leaves our current crop of attackers with a show of confidence
Who cares. They’re grown men who haven’t done their job to the required standard yet. They shouldn’t get pity for underperforming, you don’t get that in a normal job
You don't get booed, insulted, sworn at and criticism from people who have never done your job to the same level either

Even if you did get treated like that by someone you work with, you'd have the option of going to HR to make it stop.

In my case it was HR inciting the mob.

    Catching strays in the Athletic

    What a dick head

Sounds like a silly little jumped up twat. A dipstick in a padded cell shouting at flies. Possibly with a mother fixation. I'm astonished anyone would pay to read that low rent shite.

  • NJ doesn't like loans so Mr Spiers can go fuck himself.....
  • Don’t suppose there’s any chance of signing a free agent like Patrick Bamford for a bit of height and Championship know how?

We need forwards that can score regularly. Those days are long gone for him.

  • And he is always injured.
  • Just seen the video with skysports with us, when looking at the players there is a couple I don't recognise maybe Trialists

If that’s the training video I think it was shown before the Leicester game so probably just some youth players

Any good freebies released yesterday we could be looking at. Another Yann like freebie would be most welcome

Patrick Yannford is available. Josh brownhill and Josh da Silva for midfield. Don't think we could afford any of their wages though to be honest.

I dont think we'll sign anyone, but everyone on that list's wages are currently £0 a week.

Some will keep thinking that they should get £x a week and end up with nothing, others will drop their demands rather than risk it.

Whether you want a player who'll be thinking the job is beneath him and isn't paying enough is another point, tbough.

In the sage words of George Graham during his glorious Gunners years "Never sign a player, who thinks that they're doing you a favour!"
  • While a loan probably would do him good I'm not sure if going back to Scotland is necessarily the best way, I know its not that different to the English game but I feel maybe he needs to prove himself in English football.

I don't think Jones sees a future for him here personally.
  • Interesting. Another potential route into the team for Bree then, as cover for Ramsay.
  • That leaves us slightly short at CB, as you have Gillesphey/Bell and Bree effectively covering 2 positions.
