In a post match interview, Hollioake said that Crawley has been made available for the Blast QF by England. DBD was doing some work at the break, Joe was obviously playing and it is hopeful that Stewart will be fit too. At the start of the Blast we had Crawley at 3 with DBD & Muyeye opening and I would be inclined to do that once again. The side should look something like this assuming everyone is fit. I also hope that Gilchrist is selected. This would mean nine changes to the team we put out today:

    DBD
    Muyeye
    Crawley
    Joe Denly
    Billings
    Evison
    Leaning
    Stewart
    Klaassen
    Parkinson
    Gilchrist

We haven't announced a squad yet which is slightly disconcerting as it might be that we are still waiting on the fitness of DBD and Stewart.

Lancs looking fairly strong with Luke Wood, Livingstone and Salt available.

Our bowling is pretty threadbare really .  Will need a favourable toss and our batting to really fire , which it could

I think that Anderson looks very promising.

There has been some spectacularly brainless batting from us!

    This game is over already

gonna be 40 runs short of a decent total

Couldn’t disagree more, the pitch is slow. Parky leaning and denly have to play a crucial role.
  • If they get off to a flying start then it’s game over, so crucial how we start

    153 all out (20)

We are going to have to bowl very well
  • Just thinking how many runs Finch might have added .....

Billings has become somewhat of a liability IMO.

Kent are in this game 5/2
    Salt and Wells both out
  • Deary me, parky bowling dross
  • Livingstone 6’s are ridiculous - match over, unless a miracle happens - Kent didn’t put enough runs on, and mediocre bowling line up, sees us in huge trouble

“Just” need to get Livingstone out here and we have a chance

Or Finch could have played instead of Leaning.  It's not as if Leaning bowled today

Lancs win by 3 wickets with 9 balls to spare

Quite simple really - Livingstone with 85* (45) and 4-0-21-2 was the difference between us winning and losing.

I think it's very selfless of Kent TBF

They know lots of their fan base are Charlton fans and didn't want them worrying about Millwall and finals day on the same day as that might cause a few hospital visits

So they sacrificed finals day so the Charlton fans can put everything into thinking about Millwall

    Fair play Kent 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

Another player dumped from the England setup.

Indeed you could make a very decent England ODI team from the players not chosen for the S Africa series.

Could make a very nice side from the Blast QFs of players that could have been chosen from the S Africa series but aren't

    Crawley
    Salt (WK)
    Pope
    Hain
    Lawrence
    Livingstone
    Willey
    Dawson
    Jordan
    Luke Wood
    Atkinson

Sean Dickson with one of the great T20 knocks to take Somerset back to Finals Day out of absolutely nowhere. Warwickshire bottle a QF again

Wasn't Dickson considered a solid opener type when he was with us?
  • That’s not gone well.
