  • Phil SAlt, fastest T20 hundred for ENG ever (39 balls) beats previous record by 3 balls
  • Carnage. Salt beat Livingstone's record for the fastest T20I hundred and Buttler would have beaten Salt had he stayed in.

You can't even back England on Betfair now and only lay then at 1.01.
  • All kicked off between Salt and Maphaka - Salt tells the Umpire "I don't mind some but he does it every single game. It's not as if he's Kagiso (Rabada) either"
  • It is a shame we will mis out on the 300.

Poor Maphaka catches Salt on the boundary only to touch it with his foot.

    300 up!

That's the first time 300 has been scored against a full member nation in a T20
  • England finish on 304-2. They smash their previous best in a T20I which was 267-3 against West Indies.

Salt breaks his own record (previously 120) for the highest England T20I individual score with 141* (60). Brook finishes on 41* (21).
  • Salt chewed up half the balls for just 141. Thankfully we were a lot less pedestrian at the other end...

Its certainly a rollercoaster watching ENG cricket - how many days ago did they get bowled out for only 131 in 24 (?) over in an ODI? Then there was the 414 beating RSA by nearly 350 - and now this!

  • Absolutely unbelievable innings and I was still getting annoyed at Brook going for the falling over scoop too often.

    Does what?

And we were put in to bat.
  • Any ideas who the cricketer in his 40s in the news is? Clues not names if more appropriate?
  • SA are 40/1 to win this...

Not now. I was about to put a bet on it. It was 50/1. Then it changed to 20/1 then 22/1

Luckily I have only lost £2

I have a guess, not sure why. Not really based on anything other than they are in their 40's, done a bit of commentating but not recently. But not based on anything concrete at the moment
  • oh what the hell. I have just stuck £1 on Sheff Utd to win. Odds 9/1. Ipswich 1 - Sheff Utd 0 at the moment.

  • Managed to get 50p on at 81/1. Could be life changing...

If they do they will have to go some. The rate required was just over 15 an over at the start and its 17 now...
  • one newspaper online article said it happened in May 2022.

The one I read said "The alleged incident took place on May 22 in the SW6 area"
  • It seems odd that he was only questioned in June this year. So he would have been about 35 at that time...he has not been arrested.

See above "on May 22" not "in May 2022"
