It seems odd that he was only questioned in June this year. So he would have been about 35 at that time...he has not been arrested.
See above "on May 22" not "in May 2022"

The alleged spiking is understood to have taken place at a cricket-themed pub in Chelsea, The Boundary, which is co-owned by England cricket’s head coach, Brendon McCullum and white-ball batter Jos Buttler, among other members of the England set-up.

The 50-over World Cup winning captain Eoin Morgan, the former one-day international batter Sam Billings, the former South Africa captain Graeme Smith and the Ireland cricketer Paul Stirling are also shareholders, as is the England and British Lions rugby union hooker Jamie George.

None of the sports star owners were present at the time of the alleged incident, which was said to have taken place on the first day of England’s one-off Test match against Zimbabwe at Trent Bridge on 22 May.

Due to the pub’s ownership, the England and Wales Cricket Board has been aware of the allegations for some time. When contacted by the Guardian it declined to comment.

Ah.  ok. My apologies. I misread that. It could be anybody.

My guess, out of nowhere I might add - one of the initials is A but not JA

So ENG could win a T20 by nearly as many as they scored in the first ODI
Ridiculous and sublime - 2 words I've used before
  • That was some game!
    Brilliant 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

Other news outlets have described him as "Renowned" "high profile" "well known" and "A top English cricket figure". So not gonna be someone who played the odd ODI.

Although you may well be right in this case, I find your faith in news outlets as being only interested in reporting the news (and so avoid resorting to misleading headlines to oversell a story and therefore boost interest) quite charming.

    Valid point
  • Finals Day has been rather entertaining. Chris Lynn with the first ever 100 at Finals Day too.

Just a shame we've not got all the England players playing. Would have helped Lancs
  • Somerset need 44 from 22 balls

Always the way though, I remember there being a big story about a 'top Prmeier League star' having an affair that turned out to be Gary Flitcroft, and have the time the 'renowned international footballer' has two caps for Nigeria or whatever.
