Annual pass now available again! If anyone on here got it resolved then thank you, otherwise I'll take credit for sending thirty thousand emails explaining the issue over and over again...
It may have been me that sorted it! ;-) After emailing the CharltonTV stream address a second time (who this time said they were currently not offering annual passes!), I then tried website@cafc.co.uk (as I thought it could be a technical page display issue), they replied on 07/09 saying they'll check it and update and so they did! I've now got my annual pass sorted!
Also wondering if I should bother with a yearly subscription at this rate! Six games in and I’m pretty sure it’s only been possible for me to watch Bristol City (A) on Charlton TV.

You've missed the hatful of goals we've scored then

But surely you of all people have a VPN?
If we all buy Charlton TV and use VPNs whenever this shoddy deal blacks us out where we live, we support our club and punish the idiots who refuse to accept the reality that private streams are what the most loyal supporters want to pay for.

First game this season I missed attending so it was really good to watch Charlton TV for first time for ages from sunny Portugal joining midway through first half, my son was actually in Solvenia with two mates watching in a bar (Ipad.) Always good to hear excellent commentary from Greg & Brownie, missed Tel and at 22.5 mins "the over to you as lead commentary line". I texted my son when i first joined saying who's that with Greg as it didn't sound like Brownie at all, must have had a heavy cold? Charlton TV always strikes me as so much better than SKY, our commenters know all players names of both teams ! & give so much better insights into patterns of play and reading the game. I find often SKY commentators & pundits are lazy, not done their homework or giving any real insights at all. Brownie is Brownie but he really reads a game well and is superb along with the excellent Greg & Tel. COYA's

Surely the most loyal supporters go to the games?
Of course. But even the most loyal supporters appreciate the chance to watch Charlton live on TV sometimes, and the most loyal ones would much prefer that their money goes mainly directly to the club rather than Sky and that in return they get content which is tailored to them and is authentically from Charlton. And I'm sure that the equivalent is true for all fanbases.
The EFL could and should have grasped this nettle instead of settling for what is now an old-school deal with Sky and "foreign partners" both negotiated by a sports agency which the EFL has used for the last 15 years. Nice cosy relationship there. In the end that's down to the owners, only a minority like Charlton (Sandgaard in this case, to his eternal credit) could see the game-changing possibilities of club streams. And here we are. So lets use VPNs to their fullest extent and help to max money to the club, and minimise money to Sky. That is also "loyalty".
Actually if you want an example of just how ridiculous this entire deal is, look at the 10 mins highlights package now up on the Club website. "Pathetic" is on this occasion an accurate word to level at it. The vibrant Bramall Lane atmosphere is reduced to some vague background noise, some amateur voice-over (not a commentator, this one obviously wasn't even watching live in their Osterley studio) drones in what sounds to me like a vaguely Sheffield accent, and inexplicably about 5% of the running time devoted to the interruption with minute's applause for the deceased SU women's team player. With great respect to the young lady and her family, that has no place in a package like this.
I simply cannot understand why the contract apparently specifies that we cannot even edit and broadcast our own highlights with our own commentary team. What on earth would Sky lose if this were allowed?
I had already raised this with Tom Rubashow in a Zoom call on behalf of the International Addicks; he promised to investigate why we are apparently not allowed to have our own highlights package. Follow up incoming, Tom...
It's all so pathetic really! Just let clubs play and/or stream their home matches whenever they bloody like (even the ridiculously 3.00pm on Saturday sacred cow!). If SKY or anyone else want to come up with some deal they should have to compete with this as a basic right. No business should ever be prevented from operating by other businesses. I think that's called collusion and is usually illegal?
