I think Kai Enslin should be one of the next to get a loan move. I’ve always been impressed when I’ve seen him play and it should be time he tested himself beyond the u21s. Apropos that do non league clubs pick up all, part or none of a loan player’s salary usually?0

🔢 Here’s how our U21s line-up for this afternoon's clash against Bristol City: T.Reid; Hobden, Hunter, Laqeretabua; Rylah, Safa, Gough (c), Enslin, Trialist A; Casey, Sol-Loza
— Charlton Athletic Academy (@CharltonAcademy) September 29, 2025
Subs: Hardy, Brown, Bower, Trialist B, R.Reid#cafc | @ValleyGold1 -
Tommy Reid lives and Casey gets a start. Assume Trialist B will be Sheaf1

Bower on the bench is a bit of a surprise. Guess if Farnborough don't have a game tomorrow it's fine.0
-
He didn't play for them in the cup either, I assume that was to stop him getting cup tied. There's no way Farnborough are full time so he may well have been training with us tooMarcusH26 said:Bower on the bench is a bit of a surprise. Guess if Farnborough don't have a game tomorrow it's fine.0 -
1-0 in under a minute, Gough heads in at the far post from a corner.4

Playing well though my picture is playing up.

Great cross from Rylah. Casey heads in. 2-02

0 - 2 to us.
Very deep Rylah cross finds Casey free in the box who heads home with ease.
We are dominating City and look a threat at every attack.4 -

City getting more time on the ball and passing well but not really threatening.0

HT Robins 0 - 2 Addicks
Thoroughly deserved but Ried had to make a save with his knees around 42nd minute1 -

City started well and after some good passing smash a shot home.
Game on.1 -
City well on top now.
They are controlling the midfield and look dangerous.
1 -
Reid goes down "injured" so guessing Lock wanted to changes things tactically.
Bower on for trialist (Sheaf?)1 -
City keeper makes two good saves in quick succession but City still look more likely to score.1
-
Full time 2-1 Addicks3
-
Held on but were under pressure a lot and couldn't get any rhythm 2nd half.
