Preston [a] Tickets to go on sale

Driving across from North Yorkshire...never been...any advice on parking would be appreciated.

Has anyone else not received their tickets yet? Usually they always arrive within a few days, but it's been about 2 weeks since ive ordered them and i've not received them.

Can go to this now but just seen train prices, absolutley crazy expensive, think I'm gonna have to knock it  

I went to Sheffield, I’m going to derby but I’ve got to miss this. It’s getting silly expensive now. National express doesn’t get there until the evening. I seem to remember the club doing a deal with train companies years ago and selling tickets cheap. I’m sure I went to wolves and Bournemouth like this. Or maybe my memory is playing tricks.

It will obviously take you longer travelling, but try London to Birmingham return, then Birmingham to Preston return.  Ticket splitter may also be of help to you.

Thanks but I did have a look at this, for all the messing about you have to do it really doesnt save that much on the £126 for normal fare for 1 adult 2 kids with a family card

Seem to have bought one when my dad had already bought me one. Was £30 - if anyone wants it for £25, let me know 

Just seen the weather forecast for Saturday in Preston, and getting flash backs to the postponed game last season! How strong do winds need to be to get a game called off? 

Looking forward to this one with my son.. going up by coach... early start, but I think its the cheapest (and least tiring) way of doing it (there and back in same day).

Well what is there to do in the area, is it worth getting there a bit earlier etc

• Avenham Park is absolutely beautiful 
• The Harris Gallery has some great exhibits
• There's a super statue to The Preston Martyrs
• Brockholes is great for wildlife
• If you've got the time you can walk the Preston Guild Wheel (I did it over two evenings, but you could do it in a day)
• and if none of that suits you, it's a Two Spoons Town

Storm Amy hitting the North from Friday onwards. Wonder what their pitch is like for drainage ?  Could see this one being called off.
