Jones' mistake to bring on Leaburn and not Olaofe tbh.

Maybe the anti TC brigade might understand the difference he makes now. Huge spaces opened up for them once he was subbed.5

He played pretty poorly all game so not sure today is the day to 'prove the haters wrong'.Weegie Addick said:Maybe the anti TC brigade might understand the difference he makes now. Huge spaces opened up for them once he was subbed.4 -
Yeah not sure today is the one to be gassing him up. Very ineffective by his standards0
-
He’d have scored all the chances everyone else misses0
-
He just needs one of those chances to drop to him. He's getting better every game, the goals will come.oohaahmortimer said:He’d have scored all the chances everyone else misses3 -
He’ll need to take up better positions then4

Is anyone else, not named Bree, creating chances of that quality that he is for others though?oohaahmortimer said:He’ll need to take up better positions then0 -

I can understand why Jones is reluctant to drop him to the bench but a couple more games without a goal and he’s confidence will be through the floor and the pressure will increase with each game.0

No worse than many - Coventry gave the ball away a lot, Bree and Burke often looked clumsy, Macca got caught a few times, Leaburn was poor once he came on. But we love a scapegoat.redbuttle said:

Strikers need to be chipping in with goals. We don’t have a twenty goal man and as long as those we do have are chipping in and heading for 8 - 10 apiece we’ll be ok. Problem at present is none of them are.0

That doesn't really seem to be the case with him though. It's going in small increments but he's looking better game on game. It's not like he's having chances fall at his feet and fluffing them, he's finding ways to force himself into the game more and more so I'm not too worried about his confidence dropping just yetShootersHillGuru said:I can understand why Jones is reluctant to drop him to the bench but a couple more games without a goal and he’s confidence will be through the floor and the pressure will increase with each game.5 -
The trend with Kelman is that he's improving and getting himself into the game more and more.
However, we have zero goal threat and if he's turning himself into the creator; who's finishing the chances?5 -
Jonesy likes his former Luton pals. Should have brought Carlton Morris in. Think he'd do a job. Oh well!!!2

Has been called up for Jamaicas squad for games against Curacao and Bermuda21

Gone on too long now0

I’d suggest they’re very small increments.Garrymanilow said:

What I'd like to know is was there ever any chance we could've signed Kone? Seems more of a Jones type player and has had a decent start at QPR.1
-
Maybe I've just not seen enough of him, but from last season against Wycombe, I don't see why he's a Jones type player. Didn't seem like a team player, went out of his way to dive, go in to players far too hard, and constantly moaning to the ref. Kelman might not have 4 goals so far like Kone, but he's at least a team player. Hopefully now he's getting more involved each game, the goals will come.buckshee said:What I'd like to know is was there ever any chance we could've signed Kone? Sure, and I'd agree with that, but it's still an upward trajectory. Not like with Ahadme or Ajose, Stockley in the Garner season where you could see the player's soul slowly leave his body every game. Goals are a problem but I don't see Kelman wilting just yetShootersHillGuru said:

Got lol’d for saying the same in the summer. I agree but the logic is leaburn is ideally the person we want to turn into kone. But out of the two when we played them at the end of last season kone was a much bigger headache for our defence than Kelman.buckshee said:What I'd like to know is was there ever any chance we could've signed Kone? Kone is more physical, and would be perfect in the lone striker role which Kelman has occupied this season. I'm not surprised he's got 4 goals already.stoneroses19 said:

Kone would have been the much better signing, but I don’t think he would have joined us so wasn’t an option. He was always going to have interest from established championship teams which we are not yetkillerandflash said:

QPR will flip Kone for £10m in my opinion. He’s got so much potential2 -
He also wouldn’t have wanted to face Lloydy in training every dayNabySarr said:
