  • According to Colchester fans online Mbick is the best thing since sliced bread.
Young Lisbie appears to be performing well there too.
  • Surprised that Dixon has been on the bench for Crawley's last two League games, after a goal and an assist in the EFL Trophy the last time he started

Especially with them losing 4-0 last time
Sadly I don’t think he’s ever going to be Championship quality or even league one to be fair .
A 21 yo  with barely a year as a full timer, but has 20 caps and three goals for a country vying for a place in the next World Cup is not going to be good enough for the Championship? Have you even seen him play?

Has a slight build but plenty of skill.
Similar to JRS and it didn't do him any harm.
  • Two defenders let mbick run unchallenged into the pen box

    Probably scared of him 💪

Yes and I stick by my original opinion .

There's a classic Ahadme moment in the attack that starts at 1:20, luckily for him Stevenage recycle the ball and he scores. He also gets an assist about 50 seconds in but the scorer was offside.
  • In the Charlton TV monthly show, Brownie mentioned that we only have one person monitoring all our loan players, which isn't ideal, especially as both Mitchells are a long way from London.

Don't think that's unusual. A lot of the actual watching can be done via Wyscout (although not ideal) and in A Mitchell's case when he is at games closer to London. Obviously it means it's travel intensive to actually visit the players and see how they are, I'm sure video calls help but it isn't the same. Hopefully SCP can lighten the load and report back to us on Kanu

He is so awkward on the ball.

We're lucky that the 600-800k or whatever we spent on him is no longer such a massive fee to us.

We do have a LOT of players out on loan though, way more than normal, with few being the short term local non league loans for youngsters.
7 out at EFL clubs, and Zach in Scotland.

Which makes us the second highest in the division which surprises me. I guess with 5/6 of them very close by and one of them in Bower probably still training with the U21's they are relatively easy maintenance. It's the Mitchell brothers and Kanu who cause issues distance wise but they're all senior enough players to hopefully need less support

Problem is if hes on something like 8k a week (with the promotion wage increase) thats 400k a year in wages so 1.2M over the next 3 years + the 750k fee paid so the total deal is gonna be over 2M. We need to find a club overseas willing to take him on a permanent because no L1 club is affording his wages to get him permanently.
  • Think id give Dixon at least a full season of L2 before writing off his future in English football.

Perfect striker movement there which is definitely something we haven’t seen from him here yet
Disagree think his movement and positioning in particular has been good, it’s when he gets the ball has been the issue when playing for us.
