Was nice of Deano to let the mascots take part in the celebrations.

That damned Nathan Jones has got a lot to answer for.10 -
Am surprised they managed to get Kirk to run that far.cantersaddick said:SUBSTITUTES 2 -
That's such a flimsy side. It's like if a Rich Tea biscuit were a football team.3

And that's after it had been dunked. 🍵Chunes said:That's such a flimsy side. It's like if a Rich Tea biscuit were a football team.3 -
Giving Lucas Ness the #5 shirt was a bold move that didn't pay off.2

That really is the stuff of football nightmares…😱cantersaddick said:SUBSTITUTES 0 -

Had high hopes for Edun and Camara. Neither worked out.1

Have you seen the level of football up there this season? May as well be playing for Wellingfenaddick said:
Edun yet to play a league game for Stockport this season. Camara seems to be playing well for Dundee United who are 4th in the Scottish PremMarcusH26 said:Had high hopes for Edun and Camara. Neither worked out.1 -
He's been injured a fair bit, inc this season. Came on as an early sub on Saturday and did well by the sound of it.Chunes said:

Fair play for Holden coming over at the end to give us all a clap. He seemed to enjoy the response he received back from us all.One of the good guys in football.33

Didn't see that but not surprising, he did it at the away game too. A really decent man.14 -
Decent bloke. Gave us a great night out at Old Trafford and was with us in the middle of mad times.22

Great interview on Rich Cawley's substack this morning.
Lucky enough to have met him a couple of times; lovely guy and really delighted for his success14 -
Pretty scathing about who you’d assume to be Methven and Scott. Always comes across as a good bloke11

Dean Holden is a lovely bloke, his honesty and humanity always came across.
His efforts to ‘get’ Charlton and our area and history always impressed me.He is from Swinton, and knew little about our corner of the world, but he embraced his journey of discovery.
I always smile when I remember his stripped back response when asked about our support at the club he supported, at Old Trafford on a miserable winter midweek, he said our support was ‘proper’.
That one word means I will always thing fondly of Dean Holden.11 -

One we let go way too early in my opinion . Great bloke and tactically aware . Just never had the backing of the new owners.6

One of those blokes you instantly warm to. Congratulations to him.1

That’s why you pay Rich’s subscription - he’ll get the stuff that nobody else would be interested in other than us.19 -
Really good interview and pretty enlightening about his time with us, particularly the pressure he was under to walk away by Methven & Co when their deal initially fell through. Seems like they felt this would force Sandgaard’s hand, but Dean felt that wouldn’t be right for the club or fans and stayed. Sounds a bit nasty behind the scenes for him then when the takeover did finally go through.
Had a good chat with him in Malaga on the preseason trip and have nothing but praise for him. Top man, who has been through so much in his life and yet who remains positive and very humble.
