I enjoy Ted Lasso despite the last season being pretty poor but if it now focuses on Women's football , i'm ditching it.

Why? It's a new cast of characters keeping it fresh. I'm sure old faces will return at points and Women's football is on the rise and I'm sure most have watched it for the wholesome parts and life lessons.

Sounds awful, the last series was pony as well.
  • It’s not really about the football - whether men’s or women’s.

    Did they advertise that anywhere?

My sister and bro-in-law weren’t too happy this morning when they found out they were down the Valley Sunday. They’ve had men’s season tickets for years including one for my disabled nephew, and decided this year to buy Women’s season tickets as well. They’ve been to every game so far but on Sunday they had tickets for the Palladium so they missed it.

    Whoops!

They were there just to get a bit of a feel for women's football or were they filming

They go to Arsenal quite a lot (Brendan Hunt is an Arsenal fan). Probably down at the Valley since the Women have been doing bits this season.

What do you mean "doing bits" ?
  • I first started watching Slow Horses (brilliant btw)
from Apple TV as the first episode was a freebie.
Now I pay £10/month & also watching Ted Lasso, on  series 2 now & finding it's slower than the first.

Weird coincidence that my first unread post on this thread was this one, and the two programmes I’ve watched tonight have been Ted Lasso and Slow Horses!

Jackson Lamb is one of the greatest characters ever, he is like Columbo's disgusting English cousin.

Crazy stuff, almost as if both series have more or less the same release date in late august early september every year. Quite uncanny 😁

Nice sarcasm. Watching a previous series of SH so not accurate unfortunately

Current series of Ted Lasso is quite bad. Had some funny moments but some of the jokes feels like they were written by AI they're so bad.
Hannah Waddingham is the best thing about it.
Roy Kent im finding kinda annoying and the new assistant coach doesn't add anything
