I thought players typically already had insurance to cover them in the case of their career being interrupted/ended through injury?swords_alive said:Another dream recently. Me and Lyle were playing at Walsall but there were black bags of rubbish all over the pitch, some of them splitting open. Ref stopped play so the players could help clear them up so the game could go on. Lyle refused to help, so I had to do his share too. Then I woke up.0 -
Let's face it he's no Billy Bonds, is he?2

One would imagine that such cover is probably either a blanket Club policy with the stipulation that it is restricted to loss of earnings for the duration of that player's contract or taken out by an individual on a fixed term basis possibly with an age at point of entry restriction too i.e. not older than 26 and for 24 months only. That is, presumably, the reason Paul Elliot tried to sue Dean Saunders for career earnings.se9addick said:

Strange, I had a dream recently where the whiny little prick was justifying not picking up your bin bags because Chris Solly didn’t either…swords_alive said:Another dream recently.
