Ah Smith what have you done0

Yeah let’s try and smash Starc with the new ball. Genius.0

That dismissal shows why Smith isn't a potential No 3 either.cantersaddick said:Shall we play a game of predict the 11 for the first test of the English Summer?

Hameed
Smith
Root
Brook
Rew
Curran
Rehan

That's my guess. Selectors going the extreme other way to bazball with the openers.
Stokes will retire from tests. Archer could too maybe. Can see Duckett retaining his place but at 3 (there was a lot of hype about him in the india series this summer!) But Smith the long term bet there imo.1 -
Smith has now converted 2/9 half centuries, we all knew exactly what was going to happen there0

That's not the normal state of affairs for a 15/20 min rain delay. Usually tacked onto the end of the days play.fenaddick said:

Can only assume they did it thinking the innings would be wrapped upgolfaddick said:

I suspect something else. Gets dark earlier in Oz. If the match goes the full distance they don't want issues with bad light. So trying the get the overs in sooner rather than later.fenaddick said:

I hate the lunch break now. Do I call it a day, stay up through 40 minutes of filler, or have a short nap?0

Why do we keep trying to hammer one of the best bowlers in world cricket (especially when they don’t even have a proper spinner)0
-
349-9
Archer cut shot straight to the man at deep point off the bowling of Starc. He couldn’t believe it carried.0 -
Have to try and score runs. He got done by the round the wicket angle and a small amount of movement.Laddick01 said:Why do we keep trying to hammer one of the best bowlers in world cricket (especially when they don’t even have a proper spinner)1 -
