    Really looking forward to seeing The Addicks down on the south coast and hopefully being there to see
    HMS Victory sail into Fratton Park. We need our boys to be all guns ablazing & Nathan at the helm,
    with a tactical masterplan to overthrone Pompey & extend our unbeaten run to nine aways at Pompey.  

    What we definitely don't want is a grievously wounded Nathan after the Battle of Fratton Park 
    ending the year looking over our shoulders, rather than looking ahead to Fat franks Coventry 
    riding high like Lady Gadiva into The Valley on New Years Day !

    Anyone have any good ideas for some scran?  I notice the Good Companion will not be serving food after 2pm that day (for obvious reasons I suppose) and although there are other pubs nearby I've no idea how feasible they are for away fans tbh.  I know there's a subway and KFC and other assorted shit nearby but I'd really rather have some proper food!

    The gunwharf?  I guess I didn't think of that.  Easy train up to Fratton from there I suppose for the ground and/or the Good Companion

    That was Elfsborg who said get there early, I've never drunk there on a Matchday - would imagine pretty rammed as so easy to get to Fratton Park by train.

    Remember loads of naval crests all over the pub, not so much Pompey stuff, but probably just didn't take it in!

    Will be busy with it being popular for people travelling over from Gosport.

    Within 30 minutes of leaving the boozer you'll be in the ground.
