    Is this current U18s side a mainly second year squad or a mix of both with a few very good U16s like Ezenwata added in?

    The U18s will play Watford away in the 4th round, with all games to have been played by Saturday 24 January 2026.

    Ezenwata is in the England u16 squad. As is Nduka who Arsenal poached from us.

    Would love to see some really great youngsters (Gomez-esq) come through again but just can't get excited by them given how many have been poached from us in recent years... Including Ezenwata's brother I think I am right in saying.

    Yeah his brother is now scoring for fun for Chelsea's U18s and Under 21s.

    Yeah, at least 6 that we know about in the last 2 and a half years, 4 of them this season.

    Charlton's U18s will travel to Watford in the fourth round of this season's FA Youth Cup.

    They are now set to play Watford at Vicarage Road, on Thursday, January 8th (KO 7pm GMT).

    In the fourth round, if the match ends in a draw after 90 minutes, extra time will be played and if still level, then a penalty shootout will take place to decide the winners.

    Just checked the league table to see how they were doing - top, unbeaten, 1/2 games in hand and a huge goal difference.

    Big improvement on last season in which they finished 8th out of 11 clubs.
