Gidd to see NJ going for the "throw the players cards in the air & see which 11 lands face up" strategy.

After our awful display at Norwich we haven’t exactly filled my usual ‘glass half full’ attitude with much optimism.
    We’ll do well to get a draw.🤞🤞🤞

Midfield worries me. Need to see a proper performance from JRC or we could be overrun in there.

Not sure about Berry starting. Anderson not in the squad, injured?
Anderson travelled so clearly a tactical choice
Wasn't aware. Bit unusual to go from starting to not making a 9 man bench. Not sure that's good for a young pro's confidence.

He’s there to cover the space when TC attacks I think

Midfield is a massive problem, zero energy
Bit harsh as energy is mainly what all our CMs bring, some are just fitter and quicker than others.

Not sure it’s deserved either (if it’s a purely tactical decision).

Hope i'm wrong but that looks like a losing side. Has to be the starting midfield no one would select which very rarely plays out well.

JRC/Berry have hardly played all season, Coventry is knackered...

Let's hope that line up takes us and Pompey by surprise. No Ramsay is worrying and I fear he could be out for a bit longer than we first thought.

Actually hadn't thought of that , that makes a lot more sense.
  • Fullah to come on as a late sub and bag the winner 90th minute...nice👌

    Unfortunately I think we'll lose this 2-0
That's the spirit, why even bother to turn up...🤦‍♂️
We tend to do well when I say we'll lose.
  • Harsh that Anderson doesn’t even make the squad. I can understand starting Berry - especially when we’ve all pointed out the lack of creativity in the midfield recently. Big opportunity for JRC.

Carey not starting. So who is supposed to be the "creator" of chances from the midfield  ?

Also, he has almost got as many goals himself in the league as the whole starting 11 put together  5 v 7 I believe.

Good job the defence is better as that midfield is stopping no one.

Much more confident seeing that 11 than I was on Boxing Day though

Oh vey. Really don't like the look of that line-up.

Assume Berry. None of us know enough about JRC to guess what sort of role he’ll have tonight either.

  • Very experienced starting 11, I'm actually pleased with the line up can see a win 2-1 Charlton.
  • Surely Anderson is ill / injured.... cant see him missing out on the bench too.

JRC played well when he came on recently and will have a lot to prove. Hopefully he is a man on a mission and performs.

Our press, or hope Berry comes up with something. Maybe grind Pompey down, keep it 0-0, grab a goal from a set piece late on.

Three points but little actual football played to stop us being too positive. Something for everyone.

Or it goes wrong and we’re sucked closer to the bottom 3.

Good that JRC gets a chance.

Luke Berry should not be starting games for us.
    I'm the opposite of this

Roussillon travelled but not picked for tonight squad
  • Please Lord, in the name of all that is holy ...

Do not let James Bree go anywhere near our set pieces. If he lines up to take a corner or a free kick, smite him down.

Berry to either score or get taken off within 60 minutes and not start again for a while.
