    Bad result this. Need reinforcements in January, defence is fine but just under too much pressure to keep clean sheets as we can't score goals

    So on that "form" and basis, we're surely never EVER going to win a game again?
    1 win in 8 doesn’t suggest we’ll never win again, doesn’t matter how many capitals you use.  It shows a string of fucking awful results with very few points achieved including losing to 2 of the bottom 3 in 4 days and shows that, unless that string is broken and significantly improved upon, we are performing like a team in serious danger of relegation.  It also impacts confidence and mentality which in turn can impact results.

    A striker who scores bagfuls of goals would be lovely, however we were doing well earlier in the season with the same strike force we have now but a fully fit defence. My conclusion is that it actually is the injuries defenders that are actually making the difference.  
    We won a couple of games with last minute winners......not by being 2 up with 10 to go. You cant keep winning in added on time. 


    I’m not sure if you think you’re an oracle by suggesting that having a goal scoring striker would help. It clearly would, not a single person on this forum would argue otherwise. But a) they are few and far between, especially at this level, b) however much you try to diminish them, we were picking up good results despite not having such a striker in our squad because our defence was fully fit.
