Service behind A block of north lower was very quick. Pre poured pints that just needed topping up. Helps they only serve one item mind.0

My usual Beouf en Croûte in the Lower West was served in a very timely fashion6

Maybe the food at Norwich is good because of the lady that used to own the club ?3

For years, the burgers from the club hatches in the East stand have been luke warm at best. I tried one a few games ago. Still the same, and £7.50 now !
So at the Coventry game I went to the independent burger caravan on the slope going up to the concourse, and asked for a hot one. I told them the club burgers were always luke warm. The girl said so always come to us, ours are hot. It wasn't, it was only warm, why, because they've been cooked earlier, no better than a club one but £8.50
I shall have a go at them at the Chelsea game.
The burger stand outside opposite the club shop always has a queue about 50 yards long, I wonder why, is it because their burgers are hot having just been taken off the griddle ?
I'm going to try the Jerk Chicken stand at the Chelsea game if its there. What's the consensus of opinion about it.0 -
Both burger vans serve buns that are so stale, I didn't notice if the burger was hot or not.2

The Châteauneuf-du-Pape was meant to be served chilled, it was served room temperature. What are we animals !!!Off_it said:

Only if you happen to like pie & mash…..which I don’t.🤮Chunes said:
Goddard's serving pie & mash at Charlton would be a sensation.Athletico Charlton said:arny23394 said:We need to get our pies off whoever supplies Bristol Rovers. They are fantastic.
We need to get our pies from Goddard's just up the road in Greenwich. Help a local business, improve the quality of our offering. No brainer surely.

The burgers outside the ground are both cheap nasty shit and the buns are those floury stale nasty things. Last time I brought 3 from the one outside the club shop a couple of years ago for me and two others and the bloke charged me £1.80 instead of £18 on the card machine. I still felt like I was robbed.7

North lower catering for ever overcooking my steak - may resort to burger stand outside0

Fish shop in Charlton village always used to be fantastic.2

I only noticed at HT when about to return to my seat, but one of the Curbs stand drink kiosks had cask London Pride on, which is new.
No idea what condition it was in.0 -
Had loaded fries today from the jerk chicken van new inside the ground by a new bar that sold cans on saturday.
Very good jerk chicken if a bit pricey. Probably the highlight of the match apart from TCs goal0 -

Anyone know if the jerk chicken van is still around the east stand area this season? I sit in a different part of the ground but tempted to take a stroll and check it out today.0

If they have problems with beer in barrels, what chance does beer in casks have?killerandflash said:I only noticed at HT when about to return to my seat, but one of the Curbs stand drink kiosks had cask London Pride on, which is new.

Just watched a welsh guys review on youtube after visiting the qpr game. He had a burger in the east stand.I had no idea the catering was different around the ground, burgers and chips in east but no pies and visa versa on the west.Is this because its the family stand? He also had alcoholic cup cakes in the east.Im starting to feel left out being in the west!He said they gave him the wrong burger, the bhaji burger but it was tasty.1

Anyone had had greek/middle eastern or the jerk in the fan zone?0

Wasn't there against Preston, was hoping to try that myself.crookester said:Anyone know if the jerk chicken van is still around the east stand area this season? I sit in a different part of the ground but tempted to take a stroll and check it out today.1 -
The "jerk" in the fan zone is just chicken tenders with a small pot of jerk sauce on the side. Does come with chips but pretty disappointing for £15.2121 said:Anyone had had greek/middle eastern or the jerk in the fan zone?0 -
Fan Zone looks like it’s open at half time, but only ever see half a dozen fans in there. I’m in West Upper but looks like access to the FZ is blocked off by barriers in car park. Seems silly that we can’t buy anything at half time due to queues in West Upper, while a whole area with bars and food stalls is closed off to everyone. There must be a way to let people out and back in at HT - wrist bands or something similar.

I'm sure I remember chips in the East but not the West being a thing even 30 years ago. It does seem a bit poor that we can't have a consistent food and drink offer around the ground, but I suspect the kiosks differ in size and what they have installed in each. Probably an expensive thing to address.2121 said:Just watched a welsh guys review on youtube after visiting the qpr game.
