Bread pudding
I was hankering after bread pudding and thought I’d make some. Couldn’t remember what my mum put in so looked up recipes on line. They all seem to have milk and egg in them. I do know my mum’s one was water and bread no dairy.
Are they confusing bread pudding with bread and butter pudding?

I always think the bits on the edge are better than the middle that are normally softer.
A corner piece obviously the best.3 -

A corner piece obviously the best.Absolutely correct - a bit burned at the top edge.I can eat it cold but much prefer it warmed in the oven. Very nice as well with thick custard. This thread has made me just order some new supplies, not much left in the freezer.1 -

Love banana bread. My sister makes it every now and then and it's perfection with a glass of milk (yeah bit odd but I do love a glass of milk with something sweet)Rossman92 said:So simple, yet so delicious! I made a banana bread version last year that was superb3 -
