  • With a more defensive back 5 than usual due to TC's absence, I imagine Jones feels we can be a bit more aggressive in the midfield - also gives a chance to rest Coventry somewhat.

Good afternoon, grapple fans, to a partially sun-drenched Valley for this catchweight contest between Nathan "the Reverend" Jones and Chris "didn't want us" Wilder.

Today's winner is to be decided by two falls, two submissions ...

... or a 90th minute Matty Godden strike to send the home fans Radio Rental.

BDL just reading out the two teams.

There was a rather loud cheer from the (at present) rather sparsely-populated home stands  when he got to the subs and No 24.

What’s Coventry done to deserve getting dropped?

His form and consistancy has tailed off a bit in recent weeks.
Maybe Coventry's been playing with a niggle or just needs a breather?

Midfield does look vulnerable without Coventry.
Bit of a gamble but he obviously wants to take the game to them a bit.
Rankin Costello is the only CM we have that looks to consistently move the ball forwards.

    FT 12:30 KO's
    Coventry 2-1 Leicester

Just got a come-from-behind win in the early game so understandably knackered for a 3pm kick off.

Interesting comments from NJ on Charlton TV. "we were very fair to players in the summer and let them go out on loan to get game time, we left ourselves short in the first half of the season, we wont be doing that again". Imagine he is referring to the Mitchell brothers in that.
  • Clarke taking part in the shooting drill whilst Ramsay is warming up with Jones and Macca. Sign Clarke will be LWB?

Reduces the amount of time for confusion for Tel.

Centre backs doing warm up drills.

    Macca, Jones

    And Ramsay.

Suggest thats Clarke at LWB where he has played before

    Leaburn?

That would throw Wilder's game plan a bit.

I'm slightly surprised he hasn't recalled anyone if that's how he feels

Only just noticed no Doc, injury or illness perhaps?

TCs on the bench, I expect he comes on at some point.

Makes sense. Ramsay, Jones and Gillesphey have played together in a three for good while now, let that partnership continue and in Clarke or Bree we still have a proper defender at LWB
