I mean doesn't feel like anything is resolved after that, but any points on the table to sneak away from the relegation zone will do

Gifted a win and needed it with both Norwich and Portsmouth winning

Perspective please lifers. 1 win in 13. A win no matter how it came is the important takeaway from this. Couple more signings and we can hopefully kick on from here.

    Missed opportunity that
Other than a bit of GD, what opportunities were missed? We got 3 points and bedded in the two new players. We also got to see Godden on the pitch again even if it was 1 minute.

NJ walked the players straight off. Even he is embarrassed to celebrate in front of them.

Given that we've got another week of Sat - Tues - Sat that was a proper professional performance
Of course winning by more than one goal would have been nice
But if we go into the Derby match a lot fresher as a result, and get six points from two games, then that is a lot more important compared to how its achieved. I've seen us dominate Leicester this season, and we got nothing from it
  • They parked the bus and tried to play on the break.

We’re not a ball playing team so it was always going to be hard to break them down. Take it and move on. A win next week and we’re moving in the right direction

The remaining Sheffield players should be fairly proud. Kept their shape and defended well.

Probably the worst victory I have ever seen, we couldn't even score another goal to go above Swansea, woeful performance, and really highlights our lack of creativity, still 3 points, but if we want to win another game we need better

Maybe those Utd fans, players and Wilder need to watch the re-runs of the sending off's terrible tackles before they start blaming anyone else other than themselves

Negative ten? I thought he did alright.

  • 3 points but not good enough
    Pack it in
We struggled against 9 men, nothing to pack in that performance was not good enough. First half speaks for itself

You just have to win games like that, Sheffield united are stacked with good, experienced professionals albeit some outright gamesmen, really hope Knibbs is ok that tackle is replaying in my head

First Half performance was barely any different to our win at Ipswich - We didnt "struggle" against nine men either, yeah we didnt score more, but that was because they parked the bus and Kaminski had a nap in the second half

Us winning and also being a poor side can both be true at the same time. It’s really not a difficult concept to comprehend

Fwiw I'm not sure their second red was a red at all.

You can't lead with your elbow like that, it's so dangerous

Well that was the most unconvincing performance against 9 men I have seen. The Sheffield United fans were correct when they chanted you are F Sh***t.  Playing like that is relegation form.
Lets know get carried away by a first win in what nine or 10 games.

The first was bad enough to deserve two reds, so it evens out in the end. 🤓
