After all that, the worst panenka ever  :D

Disagree with the commentary on that E.Mendy has saved a peneka before

A superb team goal and strike.
I wonder when Morocco will walk off if they are still behind ?

    Game Over
You must be new to watching African football. It is never game over

I mean, you only watch African football for the last 5 minutes (as the other 90 normal minutes are bone dry), and extra time if that happens.

There is only 1 goal in this (they might as well played with a Golden/Silver Goal) trust me.

Could easily be a hell of a lot more than just 1 goal in this game

I must admit this makes yesterday seem like a perfect attacking display.

Worse than the ML miss at Birmingham

I actually thought it was a fairly legitimate penalty to Morocco

Sadio Mane the Senegalese hero. No chance to score that goal if he doesn’t convince them to come back on the pitch

Can't believe the ref didn't abandon and call it a forfeit

Pape Souare, Naby Sarr, Andy Faye and Souleymane Diawara get the victory over Gassan Ahadme, Zakarya Bergdich, Talal El Karkouri and Tahar El Khalej.
  • I wonder if there are Uber helicopters in Rabat - the ref could do with one.

I think Diaz is the one who needs one
  • The refs essentially allowed them to go and have a team talk in the dressing room during the game whilst Morocco stood around in the rain.

AFCON will surely ban Senegal now ?
Teams walking off never goes down well with FIFA or UEFA and I can't see AFCON being any different.

Great goal to win a game though and top quality Shithousery by Mendy before the useless Penenka.

Don't think he had any idea what to do and wasn't getting any help from CAF officials either

The disallowed goal just before the penalty was ridiculous as well. That ref tried his best to help Morocco

Surely he should have done. All the players should at least be booked for leaving the field without permission!

But in the end it's nice to see a game decided by the players rather than the whims of the ref.

Maybe subconsciously the penalty taker wanted to win the tournament legitimately rather than because the ref wanted it.

Why shouldn't be know what to do! There''s a rule book! Just apply the laws of the game instead of making it up as you go along!

Manager should have been sent off surely lol
  • Was about to say AFCON isn't as mad as it used to be, then all that happened.

    Brilliant entertainment!

Bonkers Final, Absolutely the right team won, disgraceful ref disallowing the legitimate goal & awarding a dodgy penalty, how we laughed at the pathetic paneka pen & celebrated the Superb strike. What a night it must be in Dakar viva Senegal !
