Good evening all…

Tonight, Derby County roll into town and another very important match ensues, after the extraordinary events of Saturday, and our hard fought (just) 1-0 win and very much needed three points added to the total, tonight we will be up against a tough Derby side and 11 men, and will need to be a whole lot more on our game, if we do, another three points should be well within our grasp…Derby come into tonight in a very comfortable 12th spot, six points above us, after an impressive 0-1 win at Preston last time out,

Matty Godden made his long-awaited, if short, return Saturday, Harvey Knibbs is out, Amari'i Bell, Josh Edwards, and Onel Hernández remain sidelined, Derby are expected to be without Max Johnston, Dion Sanderson, and Carlton Morris, and possibly Danny Batth.

We've gone toe-to-toe on 92 previous occasions, winning 32, the Rams 39, and the remaining 21ending all square, we drew 1-1 away at Pride Park in the reverse fixture earlier this season, with James Bree netting a Goal of the Season contender.

Team news…Lyndon Dykes will make his full Charlton debut in tonight’s game…he came off the bench on Saturday and provided the match-winning assist for Sonny Carey, who returns to the starting line-up on his 25th birthday. Reece Burke, Conor Coventry and Tyreece Campbell also start as Nathan Jones makes five changes from last weekend's win over Sheffield United.

It means Burke is likely to start in a back three with captain Lloyd Jones and Macaulay Gillesphey in front of Thomas Kaminski.

Kayne Ramsay could operate on the right of a back four but may play as a wing-back, with Campbell on the other flank. Coventry and Carey join Karoy Anderson in midfield, behind Miles Leaburn and Dykes.

James Bree has returned to Southampton following the completion of his loan spell with the club, while Harvey Knibbs was injured in the tackle which saw Sheffield United’s Djibril Soumaré saw red on Saturday.

Harry Clarke, Joe Rankin-Costello and Charlie Kelman move to the bench where they are joined by Will Mannion, Jérôme Roussillon, Greg Docherty, Luke Berry, Ibrahim Fullah and Matty Godden.

Charlton: Kaminski; Burke, Jones (c), Gillesphey; Ramsay, Coventry, Carey, Anderson, Campbell; Leaburn, Dykes

Subs: Mannion, Clarke, Roussillon, Docherty, Rankin-Costello, Berry, Fullah, Kelman, Godden
