1-1, fantastic Fitzgerald finish2

Sheff Utd look the more likely here. Surprised they're down where they are0

That was the moment for McAteer there0
-
Oh McAteer has to bury that, straight at the keeper is so poor0
-
Can't remember the last time we didn't have Hutton or Bradley on the pitch, feels odd when we''re chasing a winner0
-
Still something in this for either team, hope it's us0
-
Fantastic, brave keeping from Whitehouse. Great header from Newsham before too0
-
Hadn't seen their goal yet, that's such bad defending from us0
-
Didn't see much of that but realistically that's not a great result. At lease we didn't lose though0

Once again points dropped against a team down the bottom. I hope we're looking to bring in a proper striker before the window closes2
-
From watching the stream:
- That was more of the same in terms of the issues we've had playing against the lesser lights in this league
- We just don't have it in us to dominate games and create chances, and even that one big chance for McAteer came after a lucky ricochet
- Newsham and Hutton both look knackered
- Lockwood didn't have much of an impact
- Bissell didn't have enough time to do much (if we're going to keep starting Thestrup, I'd bring her on ahead of Kenney)
- Two fantastic saves from Whitehouse to keep us in it before we equalised
- Thought Fitzgerald had a good game, and her goal was very well taken
- N'Dow was excellent again
Very frustrating.3 -
You know what they say, win your home games and draw the aways0
-
and not good news Birmingham are winning and so lead down to 3.0
-
make that Birmingham have won. 4-1 now and their GD is much better than ours.0
-
Bristol City won last night as well (3-0 v Sunderland).
On the plus side, Agent Ellie Brazil scored a hat-trick as Southampton beat Palace 3-1.2 -
Sheffield United looked good against us in our home game against them too and, based on that, I was relatively happy with a draw.fenaddick said:Didn't see much of that but realistically that's not a great result. At lease we didn't lose though
I was surprised by our away support today. I was expecting there to be a few of us at best, but around a third of the fans there were ours. A few were definitely friends and family, so it's hard to know how many we actually took.2 -

Seats and standing at the Oxford game are all unreserved. It's isn't totally clear whether you're supposed to specify which stand you're going for when you buy of if you just buy one at random. Probably a good idea to pick one of the two seating areas if you want a seat, just in case.

I have been to Marsh Lane a few times. It's sit/stand where you like. It's £8 whether you sit or stand for this fixture, but Oxford City charge/d more for a seat, but nobody checks to make sure those sitting paid extra.Swindon_Addick said:Seats and standing at the Oxford game are all unreserved. The stand with seats on the half way line has several pillars, preventing you from getting a good view anywhere. The seating in the corner has no roof, so you won't want to be there if it's raining!
The best place to be at this ground is the terracing behind the dugouts.2 -

Get the women’s game moved to May- September so it’s not competing for the Mens game fan revenues over the same weekends or trying to convince fans to come to games on a cold and wet Sunday. If fans are having to choose between the men’s game and the women’s game for their money and their weekend time commitments there is likely only going to be one winner. There is a gap for football in the summer, the women’s game could fill that and clubs would increase their stadium usage to all year around.JustFloydRoad said:
Saw this in the Metro yesterday. I apprecate they are trying at least.
Anyone got any (sensible) ways they would be able to raise attendances?1 -
Two teams get promoted though, and we are 5 points clear of 3rd with a game in hand.Rudders22 said:and not good news Birmingham are winning and so lead down to 3.
Bristol City who are 3rd have a tricky game away at 4th placed Palace next weekend.0 -

Appreciate how the club makes the thumbnail more tailored to the game, whilst the WSL.2 one doesn't.(I know they are basically the same video, but still kinda odd the wsl one is just picking out a generic photo)

Not really practical as the pitch needs a lot of work during the close season.letthegoodtimesroll said:

Understand Newcastle have rejected a bid for ROI forward Emily Murphy from Charlton.
— Kathryn Batte (@KathrynBatte) February 3, 2026
It's understood the striker would like to return home (down south) for personal reasons but Newcastle see her as an important part of their plans and, as it stands, will not consider offers.1 -

Portsmouth is on a Saturday, so I am expecting big numbers then.0 -
I've been struggling for months to get club to promote the 1905 hospitality with the match tickets.JustFloydRoad said:Swindon_Addick said:8 Feb: Nottingham Forest, away, 2pm. At the City Ground. £12 adult, £10 over-66, £7 student or under-18. Tickets from here.
