Tove Almqvist has been good for them, strong on the ball but also physically held her own too, shielding the ball from our players well and really progressive passing0

Fantastic to see. She’s done well on the left but is much less effective going forwardEpsomAddick said:Means Newsham's at right-back1 -
Really under the cosh here. We've been struggling a bit since Thestrup was substituted which is odd because I can't say I'd noticed she was playing.0

Good to see the pigeons have flown up to join the away support4

Great to see Skeels back4

Skeels and McAteer coming on1

The defence have been superb today. Even with that we've needed Whitehouse to be on top form.2

Poor old Jodie Hutton. Should have won it last season and now Whitehouse is doing this every gameDyerConsequences said:Just give Sophie player of the season now.2 -
Good game management in stoppage time here0

FT. 5 clear of Birmingham and 8 clear of Bristol City with a game in hand over them8

I am amazed we won that 2-0. I don't think my blood pressure could handle watching that every week chasing promotion0

Get in!!!
Brilliant result that 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻♥️2 -
I'd rather be the dominant side in the league than the dominant side in every game, doesn't matter who we play at the moment, no-one can break us down10

First time I have seen us this season. I mean how are we top and how are teams not beating us!! They have done fantastically well. Can't say I would enjoy this every week. If Forest had been any good in front of goal they would not have lost this.blackheathaddick said:It's the first time I've watched a game live rather than just highlights and it's been interesting. I say this all as a coach of girl's football. There are lots of misplaced passes and mis controls. Forest look a lot more comfortable with the ball. We look like the poorer team yet we are somehow 2-0 up and I'm wondering whether this is just normal.
My plan to be at the Valley next week has just been scuppered but I do plan to get to a gsme or two between now and the end of the season.
I hope that the Board have a budget for the WSL Prem.0 -
3 more points. Doesn't matter how they come, just got to keep grinding them out.
5 clear of Birmingham, 8 ahead of Bristol City with a game in hand, or 11 on Newcastle having played the same.
8 to play, 14 points guarantees promotion. 20 for the title.4 -
FT 2-0
This team is... utterly perplexing. Anyone who watched the game without knowing the league positions would have said Forest were top and unbeaten rather than us (after today and what happened at The Valley, they must hate us). We had two moments of attacking quality all game, and scored from them, but otherwise it was pretty much all Forest. They were physically stronger, they were much better at winning the ball back and using it, and they created several good chances. But they failed to take them, either through poor finishing - like that volley in the first half - or thanks to the brilliance of Sophie Whitehouse.
I'd have said this isn't sustainable, but then it's worked throughout this season, so what do I know?3
