Only 35 singles remain in Covered End lower currently, so anyone wanted a couple or three or more in the cheap seats will need to head over to the overspill block H in the west where about 130 remain.

    Plenty other seats elsewhere.

don't go that many away games these days but southampton away tickets bought a few hours ago - other than that bad omen, i'm feeling confident about tonight

A point tonight is fine, and 4 points from this run of 3 homes games is okay as long as we beat Pompey. I went through our remaining fixtures and I reckon we can accumulate another 17 points which should see us safe and that included us drawing tonight and losing to Stoke on Tuesday.

That being said, QPR are the kind of decent but inconsistent, classic mid-table side, type of opponents we should 100% be aiming to beat at home to keep ourselves out of the really deep sticky stuff. With a better-balanced pair of wing backs, Carey back amongst the goals recently, and Bell and Godden back too I think we should look a better side now than we have in the last couple of months and hopefully a bit of confidence has started to return after Saturday.

The QPR journalist on Richard Cawley’s SubStack said that QPR left 3 men up at Coventry corners in the manner of Barcelona at their peak. Be interesting to see if they do that, or even one or two, given our aerial threats.

QPR won at Blackburn, got a draw at Oxford and Portsmouth but lost at Norwich and West Brom. Exactly the kind of team we need to be beating if we want to stay up. They're 13th in the away table and the only thing consistent about them this season is their inconsistency.

QPR have a large contingent coming via boat tonight apparently.

  • Feel we have a real chance of 3 points tonight with QPR injuries and away form.
Hope we have a proper go at it and not just sit back and hope for the odd chance.
2-1 Addicks we go 2 up then make hard work of the last 20 minutes.
Carey and Kelman with the goals!

What's the weather doing there? Any chance it gets postponed. Can't see a thing in the Midlands at the moment through the fog, and flooding a problem in places.

Chelsea did the same against arsenal in the league cup semi

Weren’t they doing that against us in the reverse? Seem to remember us getting viciously countered by their pace a few times

We'll be fine with Coady, Gillesphey and Coventry covering them!

  • Absolutely scuppered by the trains tonight. Thameslink is the biggest bag of wank of all time.
I'll be taking my seat on the sofa.

Match postponed due to suspicious betting patterns in East African markets.

So did Porto when they played us in a pre season game a long time ago. I think it makes good sense, makes the attacking team have to think.
