Our press has suddenly returned. Smothering them.

    The Greg Docherty effect.

From the replay looks like the top of Kone's head made contact with his chin.
    Should have sent Kone off...
Nah, wasn't deliberate, just both going for the header and Jones got better height.

Feels a bit like QPR might have weathered the storm here

    Clarke massively helping there too

Meh, still bitter about him getting away with it, in both Semi-Final legs for Wycombe

Look, I don't want to say this without thinking because I know it can be a touchy subject, but I would describe this first half performance from Dykes as Yann-esque
Dykes will never have the artistry or charisma of Yann, but he's certainly getting stuck in.

When I remember all the negative stuff about Dykes before we signed him, the guy is everywhere and a real handful

"Think they've shaded it". A master of understatement on commentary.

Not sure what Dykes was doing there, seemed to move away from the ball at the end
Think he was trying to make the defender go through him to get to the ball.

    Atmosphere sounds alright..
    Mostly QPR though?
Bit of both from what I can hear on the TV
All I can hear is the Cupboard End ...
Tbf @aliwibble put doubts in me, I thought I could mainly hear us. Just wasn't strong enough with my conviction
I've heard VFR and "Oh Sonny Carey just now". I think the early stuff was a bit too generic for my hearing.

Ramsay playing like a man that’s got a bit of competition finally too.

Nice flick from Dykes to get the ball to Clarke, and we've got another throw in a good position.

Pisses me off when Brownie keeps on saying "the home side"...doesn't he know our name ffs...
I must be missing it but he keeps praising Smyth who apparently has got Clarke in his pocket. I saw one run where he had him beaten but nothing else

That's cleared and Bell goes bakc to Kaminski.

Bless em. QPR have had some injuries!!!!!!
  • First the Sky Comms say that we've shaded it, then they say that Kaminski has had little to do.
  • What’s that. QPR have a lot of injury issues as well.

I thought that was just a Charlton issue

I agree with the point though that lovely deft finish last time out suggests there is an artistic soul somewhere underneath all the tats and thuggery (not that there's anything wrong with that!)

Head tennis in their box, goes over to the right, unfortunately Clarke mistimes so concedes a throw.

It's not that, if Dykes's eye is anything to go by Collins will beat the shit out of him if he doesn't play well

Saito takes out Doc, ref plays advantage, one doesn't really transpire and Bell gets revenge on Doc's behalf on the halfway line and concedes a free kick.

I've just had a look at the forecast and the Met Office have issued a warning to those in the Rangers area of SE London as the next named storm, Storm Godden, is due to hit at about 9:20pm ...

Wish refs would give a card for that. A frustrated foul.

    100% a yellow.
