Still find it absolutely mental that he got 11 championship goals for us. Dreadful player
Got a beautiful goal at home to Derby in a 3-0 victory, must be highlight of his career ................... apart from being kicked out of Maldon & Tiptree  :D What a claim to fame. Billericay for a few weeks & what next Hackney Marshes ?

Was never a fan of Bonnes even during his first spell with us.
I was staggered he had a career back then.  I was staggered he went to QPR for money.  I was suicidal when he returned to us.  I'm amazed he still has a job now and find it crazy he played at AFCON

Dreadful footballer and not a great human being

Did alright in the Championship, then just petered out. Think it went to his head.
Yes, let's not completely rewrite history.  His game wasn't good enough for the Championship,  but 11 goals isn't something you can fluke. I'd be amazed if any of our strikers this season reached double figures.

It's odd why he's dropped so far down the ladder, when he ought to be good enough for L2. It's not as if he's earned the money that Lyle Taylor has, or have Taylor's media career.

Very similar to Pritchard who got a similar number of assists but then fell down the leagues.

Only we  would sign  a wheelie bin with one wheel and an ill fitting lid and dress it up as a world beater.
Mind you we did get £2 mil from QPR for it

Has signed for Billericay Town where will face such giants as Lewes, St Albans and Cray Valley PM
Couple of random CAFC connections at St Albans currently - Lewis Page (still only 29) has been ever present for them this season, and Danny Green (yes that one) is Assistant Manger
  • Bon Bonne. A nightclub in Sydenham where you could score a lot more than Macauley.

Bon Bonne was in Herne Hill.

You are right. I never went to Bon Bonne, I went to Bonnies which was Sydenham…
Lived in SE26 for years, used Twilights at Cobbs Corner. Sorry, don't remember Bonnie's, probably before my time.......
Bonnies was late 80's / early 90's - dance club. I think it was in a pub in Southend Lane. More of a short term venue rather than an actual nightclub.

I worked with someone in the mid 80's who lived in South Croydon and he used to go to Bon Bonnie's (or so I thought it was called). I live in Bexley at the time so was out of my Manor.

'Cos if anything screams classy feel, it's cheap drinks and a revolving DJ stage.
