Only another 19 more days, the clock is ticking down.
Exactly counting down  the days to this one rather that mob we have from West London on Saturday.
Can't believe there is a whole thread dedicate to which one we'd rather win.

Here's a tougher question, finally beat Millwall but get relegated to League 1 this season, or stay up but get beaten 6-0 by them in 19 days time?

I think beating Millwall is the only thing that could make me bear another season in League 1, already seen us loose 4-0 there couldn't bear another that (never mind two on top).

    What about you?

Get stuffed and stay up all day long

am immune to losing to them now, even my mates don’t take the piss anymore

I’d take a defeat if it guaranteed safety

Defeat and stay up, honestly think going back down would break us, Jones would leave, owners will probably pull out investment and we'd get 8k crowds

I agree it would be a disaster of a relegation.

However I must say I would be intrigued to see how our League One All Stars team gets on as I don’t think we would lose that many back to the Championship.

Kelman, Leaburn, Olaofe, Knibbs, Edwards, JRC, Apter, Bell etc….. there are goals galore in that.

Think maybe Jones, Ramsay and possibly Carey may be picked up but not much more than that.

I have a feeling we would see exactly the same football just down a level.

Is it worth doing a West Ham relegation thread (or aren't we bothered either way)?

Think the Millwall Fan knows how we feel (as we have been through it before), can see the many threads dedicated to the match, players in the game and the many threads about (insert backroom/board staff name) out are bumping . They have stuck to their own forums and respect that we are not in the mood (in a position) to banter in the way they like us too 🙏

Just hoping you lot lose a couple of games to keep you out the automatics, and bottle the playoffs. Think I might give up on the sport entirely though if the final ends up being you lot Vs Wrexham...
  • They'll  (Millwall) do very well in the playoffs if they stay up there.

Wrexham now looking a dark horse quietly creeping up there.
  • Said it before and i'll say it again, can a mod please edit this thread title. Getting a bit embarrassing now.

My mate said this a month ago. Last game of the season,  Millwall v Oxford.  We need them to win to save us and send Oxford down. A Millwall win promotes them.

If that was the case I'll be fine with it. I can't stand them but going down to league 1 again and playing bloody Bromley would be too much.
Obviously it would mean they become stronger due to the money they will receive but we really need to establish ourselves as a div 2 team again and progress from there.

Change the thread title to Millwall Promotion Thread and watch them fade quicker than our team did on Saturday (ok maybe not that fast)

    8 points from 7th, and 3 points from 2nd 😬

That is not considering only Derby and Preston has played the same amount of games.

Coventry, Boro and Hull has played one game less (only Ipswich has played two games less).

Someone change this asap. Anyone. Please.
  • Looking nailed on for playoff place. They’ve had some impressive wins. Be a right kick in the nuts if they make it to The Premier League.

It's a poor Championship this year, Hull, Derby, Preston are all winnable games for Millwall in the playoffs.

Or, “Millwall countdown to when they blow it in the play offs” more like. 😁

we’re not as lucky as you lot in the play offs. Of the 8 we’ve competed in we have only won 2 of them.

Still, it’ll be nice to be in the mix at the end of the season. You’ve got to be in it to win it as they say. That is of course if we can even stay in the top 6.

I’m still waiting for the post Christmas, 1996 style crash that the Temu Mystic Meg Doucher predicted a couple of months ago. We’ve only lost one game in the league since Christmas and that was away to Coventry, were we should’ve really got something. Oh well, it’s only February, it could still happen. I don’t think we’ll be going down though à la 96 😁

To be honest, i'm more concerned at you making the automatics! There's no way you drop out of the top 6 now.

*- till when you're in the same division as us (then find some weird luck, and fluke promotion)

We could call it Millwall countdown to.... then update it (with page references to whatever happens I guess 🤷‍♂️)

Just get the other teams you're playing in the playoffs to wear Charton kits, and you'll cruise to promotion mate.

Mate, I joke about 96, but if that season taught me anything, it’s that you don’t take anything for granted.
