Gotta say since we went 1-0 down that was terrific.

Lessons to be learnt today. I don't mind a conservative approach but you have to have a bit of a go too.

Commendable performance in terms of effort. Skill and creativity still lacking. Solid point.

Sonny not shagging anyone after that
Good, needs to save energy for Tuesday against the Baggies.

Thank God for that, not pretty but hopefully means Pompey was just one bad game and not the sign of rot

  • Fair play. Superb defending in that last 10 minutes.

    I'm now breathing again.

Good point, if we can beat WBA, it'll be a few decent away day results.

Very pleased with that and absolutely necessary to match other results.
  • So Nathan Jones has answered the prats from Southampton, he's very happy thanks...😂

Well done boys. Tremendous effort. As long as we keep up that work rate and fight no is taking points off us easily. Actually could have won it on another day - the one that squeezed wide off Coady and Dykes and then several situations where a better decision with the pass and we might have been in in goal.
  • 13 more results mirroring that, maybe replace one or two with a win, will do me just fine

I bet Bonnie Blue has heard that quite a few times

Well done boys. Thoroughly enjoyed this thread with you all today. Maybe because of a lack of Golfie? I don't know. Anyway, it's been emotional. Up The Addicks
He was there today, bending the ear of those around him most likely.

This is unusual for me but taking positives from that

Up one place to 17th. Back above Norwich.

Remain 7 points clear of the drop after Leicester’s draw at Stoke. Will be a minimum of a 9 point gap if we can beat WBA in midweek.

    Norwich lose

Great, means we go back above them ...

... and a few of us on here can have a good couple of days lording it over Canary-supporting friends and colleagues.

Only in jest anyway, he cares about Charlton just like we all do.

Pulling out results like that is exactly why we’ll be safe this year. It’s not pretty but you can’t tell me this team doesn’t have bottle and fight in them.

This doesn’t feel like I’m watching a relegation team or season.

    Well done lads. Great point.
Dishonourable mention to Millwall for being the utter shite hawks we always knew they were.

Special mention to Collins Sichenje who after a rocky start ended up having a brilliant game.
