Didn't take our chances, they scored against the run of play. Clarke should have scored, Berry should have pulled the trigger earlier. Playing quite well. TC well off it on my opinion, seems back on his heels, not anticipating stuff. Next goal crucial.

    HT 0-1

We've actually played reasonably well and created some good chances, just incapable of taking them.

For a team challenging for a play-off spot I've not been impressed by Disney FC at all. They have a tendency to fall over when in close proximity to one of our players and they look ropey at the back. The fact that we've opened them up four or five times speaks volumes.

If we can be a bit more clinical in front of goal we can still get at least a point out of this.

    Just shouldn’t be losing this.

Not many complaints. The game plan is working, we just don’t have the quality to consistently score and win games at this level.

I like Clarke, but that’s the second chance that should be an absolute gimme at this level. You’ve got to take them, even as a RB.

Wrexham have given us enough opportunities to get something from that half but we haven't been good enough to capitalise. We are lose in the middle though, Coventry not having one of his better games and we seem more open than we have been for a while. I think we need to finish or we will get caught again to put it beyond us.

The guy who's established us in this league, hasn't hid, has run a dominant midfield show misplaces a couple of attempted forward passes which he never attempts I thought and he's having a nightmare. You're such cunts honestly

We’ve outplayed them and are unfortunate to be behind.

How many minutes has Coventry played since Coady was signed? Seems unfair to single out a player who hardly gets a fucking go

He's played well? Put one pass out for a goal kick and had everyone run away from his pass just then. Also, been everywhere and won a bunch of tackles
Backwards, sideways, aimlessly punting it forwards, tried a no look pass up the right wing earlier and it was toss.

Tried similar ball on the left and it went out with a whimper

Tried to pass 10 yards to Ramsay (or Bell, the ball was so shit you couldn't tell) and it split the two and it not only broke down our attack but also set them off on another counter attack

He wins about as many tackles as Docherty has recently, and slows us down so much it's ridiculous

Get your head out his arse

Other than one bad forward pass Coventry has been decent. Should be at least 1 to Charlton so far.

Super, super stoked for having to do all of the midfield tracking covering and running on his own and inevitably leaving a gap or two meaning Coventry gets the 'NOT FIT TO LACE DOBBBBO'S BOOTS'
Wfrom literally fucking everyone on here
Doesn't need Dobbo to show him up, he's doing enough himself

    Fuck off
The last time you told me to f*** off, I had said Hector was at fault for a goal. Then it came to half-time, and Curbs and Brownie spoke at length about how Hector was at fault for the goal.

    So, no offense taken.

    1. How are we established in this league?

    2. Rich for someone who rivals RonnieMoore with the amount of bollocks spouted to call fellow fans who have every right to their opinions "cunts" for not agreeing with you.

    3. Get Fucked

Its one of our best performances for a while. Deserve to be winning but thats football. Given the scores and results below us, plenty of reasons to be positive.

thought TC has been pretty good taking on two three players at a time

I don’t think Coventry is really at fault.

Yes he can be a bit limited going forward, however in our system I can only imagine how difficult it is to find an accurate forward pass.

Think we need to start taking a few more calculated risks with our LCB and RCB. We can afford to push one a bit higher and take a few risks, especially at home.

He also played a wonderful crossfield ball to TC in amongst all that and has otherwise recycled well. The balls up the wing are clearly a tactic

After a couple of games where we created very little,  but were clinical,  today is the opposite.

Because he misplaced that pass? Think he's done his job pretty well otherwise.

They can afford finishers, we can’t.
Or we just don't spend it wisely enough.
Mmm, wouldn’t be surprised if they had the highest players budget in the league, we have a confirmed bottom three. Gulf is enormous.
I agree. But when it's a fact that two players that we've actually spent money on are now out on loan, and one of the others barely gets off the bench...
All we can afford is taking punts on L1 players making the step up. Some work, Carey, some don’t. Not to say they won’t work out but I suppose it’s not the time to be improving players when we’re in a relegation scrap. There’s a huge difference in fees and more importantly wages between us and most of the league, especially Wrexham.

He's perfectly good defensively, no complaints at all. At the same time, he's about as good as Doch when it comes to passing the ball. He's having a bad game in possession today but he's fine generally. I just don't know why we have to pretend like he's such a great player.

We have been the better side by miles that half unfortunately didn’t take our chances hopefully we continue in the same manner and we will get more chances

Collins should be a starter now imo he is solid and has shown an eye for a forward pass

People watching a different game here... Cov has been decent other than 2 wayward passes and we have been the better team by a mile

At least we have tried to play some football on the ground today.

    Bit unlucky to be behind.

Criminal miss from Clarke and how bloody long did Berry want to get a shot off.

Wrexham are probably what Jones wants us to be. Masters at grinding results out.

Suspect we will huff and puff but ultimately lose 2-0
  • maybe get fevrier on for ramsah? overload that left hand side with Campbell down there as well

It hurts to be punished for not taking our chances but it feels like there's something here for us today if we can find our shooting boots. Even a point will be a huge result given the other results in the early kick offs all going our way.

TC looks lively and up for it today, keep it up lad.

Probably the best we’ve played for quite sometime. Our two Achilles heals - failure to take our chances, and shots against from the edge of the box - have been our undoing. A bit unlucky to be behind but you can’t really create chances much better than Berry’s and Clarke’s so only really have ourselves to blame as we failed to take either of them.

Still to come from behind to win this season, maybe today is the day.
