Rob Street's name came up as a loan target a couple of years back when he was still at Palace along with another striker of theirs Luke Plange.2

We need to get a move on, Sheff Wed have already signed a player. I’m getting worried we’re weeks into the summer window and we’ve had one rumour about a road.

All jokes aside as soon as we secure mathematical safety (assuming we do) I would turn all attention and focus to next season and not worry about another game but rather fully concentrate on building and recruiting a squad for next season to compete all season with a different style other than the (arguably wholly necessary) pragmatic football we've successfully employed this year.9

Still need to focus on what players we want to keep moving forwards with and what youngsters may or may not be ready to step up. But assuming the recruitment process we will already be looking at considering we had Sichenje lined upRodneyCharltonTrotta said:All jokes aside as soon as we secure mathematical safety (assuming we do) I would turn all attention and focus to next season and not worry about another game but rather fully concentrate on building and recruiting a squad for next season to compete all season with a different style other than the (arguably wholly necessary) pragmatic football we've successfully employed this year.3 -
How much we have to spend does depend on us getting rid of some of the deadwood, the likes of Ahadme, Tanto and Apter, who might prove hard to permanently shift.2

Kaminski, Mannion, Ramsay, Apter, Burke, A.Mitchell, Macca, Docherty, JRC, Ahadme, Kelman, Tanto, TC all under contract that may be moved on this summer down to contract situation, out of favour etc.killerandflash said:How much we have to spend does depend on us getting rid of some of the deadwood, the likes of Ahadme, Tanto and Apter, who might prove hard to permanently shift.
Then you have the youngsters to think about like Asiimwe, Z.Mitchell, Fullah, Gough, Mbick, Kanu going to be a very interesting summer4 -
Why haven't we signed anyone yet... The owners have no ambition, they've clearly run out of money as well so expect next season to be a very tough one to even get 0-pts!!5

Considering they are already relegated what exactly is the point of that?Scoham said:We need to get a move on, Sheff Wed have already signed a player. I’m getting worried we’re weeks into the summer window and we’ve had one rumour about a road.

Might as well save a wage and play an U21 kid (if they aren't already doing that).0 -
I've prepared by following Linda Messi on X.6

Agree with Ahadme, probably Tanto too but not Apter. There is a very decent player in there and I think we should persevere with him.killerandflash said:How much we have to spend does depend on us getting rid of some of the deadwood, the likes of Ahadme, Tanto and Apter, who might prove hard to permanently shift.8 -

Wonder how much that ship has sailed with his family sniping at Jones etc.LargeAddick said:

I think we need to be careful and make sure we can walk before we try and run. We all want to see better football, Jones included, but I’m not sure it is a change that happens that quickly. I don’t think there will be a dramatic style change between now and August, it’s going to be more of a gradual process to change the way we playRodneyCharltonTrotta said:All jokes aside as soon as we secure mathematical safety (assuming we do) I would turn all attention and focus to next season and not worry about another game but rather fully concentrate on building and recruiting a squad for next season to compete all season with a different style other than the (arguably wholly necessary) pragmatic football we've successfully employed this year.5
