Is the "16-20" blocks a new thing ? Do we really want young 'erberts that close to the away fans.
Or am I reading it wrong?0 -

Not being a current ST holder I dread to think what price what a normal ST in the AC stand will be come July.
And with the current way we play I will be going less & less. Just the Spurs & Millwall matches I expect 🙂0 -
Think the map is just crap. Those blocks are usually unavailable for ST's. Think the 16-20 zone is in the west corner of the CEgolfaddick said:Is the "16-20" blocks a new thing ? Do we really want young 'erberts that close to the away fans.

Bit of an irony here- earlier this week had email saying my Lower West s/t (of 25 years) would 'not be available due to hospitality revamp'- then message from the Chairman encouraging purchase of s/ts!!!1

Maybe I’m just getting old and too protective of my grandkids but I can’t work why they don’t set the jump up in price brackets to when the kids become teenagers, ie 13 as that is a universally recognised time honoured stage in life anyway. Setting it as under 12 just sounds pervy. It’s not as if that’s the age they step up to senior school because at 11 they’ve already done that.AFKABartram said:@Jon_CAFC_ I might be wrong, but I think at 12 she no longer qualifies for the U12 rateHas it always been ‘U12’ ? Or is it an age that’s been sneaked in during recent ownership regimes ?1 -
Maybe we could have an “old erberts section” for those that don’t want to let go of they’re youth!!😂golfaddick said:Is the "16-20" blocks a new thing ? Do we really want young 'erberts that close to the away fans.

"£15 repayment when you join Valley Gold" on the 2026/2027 ST brochure.
So we now save £15 when joining Valley Gold as opposed to the other way around?3 -
16-20 Youth Section has been going 2 years already, and remains in the NW Quad…golfaddick said:Is the "16-20" blocks a new thing ? Do we really want young 'erberts that close to the away fans.

as @fenaddick says, the map is crap!16-20 zone works out at just under £7 a game at its most expensive phase0 -

Perhaps now is the time to share the strong "rumour" regarding the Membership Scheme that "our pal Gavin" mentions.
Once again, it is another ploy to " bring us in line" with , allegedly, other clubs & presumably to ensure we're Premiership ready . Another indication IMO of trying to run before we can walk ...or even crawl should the worst happen come May
"Other clubs " ( and I believe Millwall is included) allow ONE away ticket per supporter ie it would appear that you will not be able to purchase for others that you wish to sit with - they will have to buy their own....So, those of us who travel on a regular basis & purchase tickets as a group in order to share the match experience together, would appear to be a thing of the past. Presumably, but I'm not holding my breath, this will mean 2 separate purchases for a parent/carer who take their under 16 year old/s along....
And these away ticket purhases do not even benefit our club financially so why the need for change ?
The mess of allocating points to ID accounts this season has presumably been neglected despite angry fans confronting Ticket Office staff as to the manner in which this currently "works" will be no more, I assume.
So, the bare bones of the proposed ( or possibly already agreed ) Scheme which others have been made aware of in whispers/asides for some time, is due to be announced.
I have no qualms regarding sharing this with you, dear Lifers , as this is going to impact the faithful from next season. GC & co are merely pavng the way for the next piece of news which will soon be landing in our In Boxes.
It will be interesting to hear your thoughts, although I have my tin hat ready to be donned...
It's not clear whether some kind of points will still be awarded to away ticket purchasers and whether VG membership will still count in the process but I fear the Academy may well suffer should points count for nothing in the future plus of course the cancellation of the bonus when purchasing a season ticket as announced today.
I'm currently trying to hold back the Tingle in anticipation of the additional benefits mentioned for participating in the MS....
I trust that you will know that I'm posting this purely to share what I have heard . We may be customers to the Board , but we know the vast difference between faithful fans & the derogatory term used during the Belgian reign. And I may be doing an injustice to the money men in misinterpreting what I'd hard but as Mulder & Scully "said" - The truth is out there ".
Perhaps Weegie will read this & comment accordingly as CAST may have been involved in the consultation process along with the Advisory Board. That would be helpful.
Over to you, guys & gals, and if you don't see me in Crossbars tomorrow , you'll know that I've been detained, pending further investigation...or been appointed as the new CEO ....That’s a lot of ‘If, Buts & Maybe’ for something that is still in its build stages!Nothing has been confirmed, and I know VG (and its positives/love of) has been mentioned in almost every consultation phase and focus group.
id imagine it to start small before building up, especially if it ‘goes live’ after the season starts0 -
It was previously an U11 categorisation and changed to U12 last season I recall I had a challenge then too.letthegoodtimesroll said:

its not the changing of her age and the price paid it’s as you say why it’s not ready to do - I was prepared to log on pay and be done and can’t - I also now need to ring ticket office - an annoyance too also for some others as possibly being unable to renew online will mean they cannot avail of the installment option
poor by the club tbh0 -
As I said earlier in this thread, there is no security of tenure and the club have every right to disable the ability to renew, and indeed block anyone from buying a season ticket anywhere. That is their prerogative.Sword65pf said:Don’t really get people getting precious about moving seats, probably not even that far, like it or not we are basically renting/ buying the seat for a season, if the club decide not to sell that seat, which is they’re prerogative, if you want to still attend there are other seats available.
Being disappointed about the decision is not being precious - disagreeing with the why and especially how it was done is not being precious - being surprised that there is no mention of holding early bird prices for those displaced who may wish to wait until after the ST renewal deadline to see if their are better options is not being precious.
Responding with, in so many words, fuck off is not being precious - and that’s my prerogative.
Maybe that makes me a plastic fan.

Surely any changes to the method of buying away tickets has to be clearly bedded in & ready to go well before the next season starts. Our 1st match could well be an away one......

Personally, I'm completely fine with the price and happy to renew. Just so long as I’m not watching us play Bromley next season.9
-
So as a lapsed ticket holder the obvious questions are
1. How much after phase 1?
2. How much on a per ticket basis ie match by match?
Surely this knowledge is what gets more new ST holders?

You consistently have some of the worst takes this forum has ever seen.
