Big win big win. A deserved one too and if I'm honest a comfortable one. A bit like Wrexham can't remember Mannion being tested at all. Clarke brilliant once again, Ramsay too and Lloyd was his usual monster self. Cov got stuck in and Dykes put himself about and chased things down endlessly. The sort of performance you want to see a from a team down the bottom. We wanted it and we got it. COYR.

Very well deserved win. For all the money that Birmingham have spent they hardly laid a glove and we were by far the better team apart from a brief interlude in the second half. Would take a collapse of unimaginable proportions not to stay up now. We’re safe.
  • Just win games, two more should be enough.

Shout out to Kelman who looked sharp when he came on

We're not a great team but we have plenty of fight and enough talent to stay up and that was the aim for this season.

Brum might have been better to play football refer than fouling and rolling on the floor, horrible team.
Have to disagree there. We may not have great players, but we absolutely ARE a great team.

I clocked Collins Sechenji after the game signing autographs and getting selfies with the fans after his man of the match performance today…..
Was he still limping with cramp from the Wrexham game?

Not been Conor Coventrys biggest fan but he’s looked really good since coming back in. Midfield 3 worked really hard today and Birmingham just couldn’t live with them. Bit of a shout for Mannion too who claimed everything and took the sting out of the game. Brilliant result.

Charlton battled to gain a deserved victory. I thought the midfield played really well and both Ramsay and Clarke ran their legs off. We needed a finisher as there were similar opportunities that fell in the Birmingham box, that we didnt get on the end of. I'm agreeing with most that two more wins should be enough, but a word of caution, all those teams below us are fighting for points now, if we go to Oxford and don't match their fight, then all of today's hard work will be undone.

Bloody great win. Fucking get in.

Some great performances, and apart from that one ropey kick, so pleased Mannion has got his chance. Kaminski 20k a week, what an utter joke.

Still think it could go down to the last two games - all it takes is Leicester and Oxford to go on a run. Would be ecstatic to be proved wrong so LOL away (lol)!

    Buzzing after today - UTA

Anyone who doubts NJ and what we are trying to achieve under him needs to listen to that interview. I wouldn't want anyone else as our Manager. Love him.
Yes, I love his honesty and always loved his passion no matter how OTT is can be perceived to be, but the most encouraging thing and the only thing I had any type of issue with is how or if he will evolve, hearing him say what he wants to do and why we play as we do at the moment, he is realistic but has a plan.

Got to get 3 points against the mid division teams when they’re not on it. Birmingham weren’t today and thankfully we took a chance.

3 points are not easy to come by now. That was a big win for us today.
Got to respect when we do enough to put teams off their game. We played well and punished their lack of ability to cause us problems.

Jones, Bell and Ramsay all superb today. Wrap them in cotton wool and keep them fit until the end of the season and we will stay up.

Birmingham offered next to nothing today and were there for the taking. For much of the game it didn't look like we could take advantage until a real strikers finish from Kelman. How ironic that I had liked a "what is the point of Charlie Kelman post earlier"!

I hope NJ doesn't do to Kelman what he did before - as soon as he scored a couple of goals he dropped him! We need goals and if his confidence is up after today keep him in the team.

And how lovely to see Mannion coming and taking some dangerous crosses. It just takes huge pressure off the defence. I hope he stays in for the rest of the season.

My memory might be playing tricks but I thought Kelman was injured rather than dropped

Glowing with happiness after that win ! Great performance by all the lads - worked their socks off against a team that seem to have worn themselves out chasing the rats away from their Brum mansions.

LOVE the determination & fight as shown this afternoon - long may it last !

A last minute problem prevented Mr F from attending today & I left him ankle deep in water & other assorted "debris" in our bathroom after a blockage & then a flood....

Expected to return home to find him wearing just his underpants & a snorkel but he was fully dressed, albeit with a full load churning around in the washing machine but the blocked down pipe wasn't playing ball...

Thankfully, a Dyno Rod " astronaut" is on his way to save us ( hopefully) so the decorative porcelain " plant holder " will not be required after all tonight ..... :D

Brum can't surely be that bad every week. Ducksch & Priske are absolute donkeys. I swear people raved about Klarer too, he's a lump of a defender that just relies on grappling and getting away with it.

Paik & Iwata spend more time on the deck crying than playing it seems too.

Great day and a real relief that we are so nearly there.

Priske should have had a second yellow. After shoulder barging Jones and getting a yellow he did exactly the same thing later in the match!

Jones one should've been a straight red

They subbed him soon after the second incident, knowing he was lucky to still be on the pitch.
