Our draw up to this point would’ve been Chelsea -> Hull -> Wrexham -> Port Vale. Been a very kind draw for Chelsea.

We'd have fucked it up against Port Vale had we made it all that way - We don't win QF games anymore

I feel like I’m going mad with this West Ham penalty.

Ref is getting castigated by Ally and co. But when you watch the slow mo Traore deliberately kicks the ground with his left foot and then wraps it round the back of the defenders leg.

I expected the complete opposite to happen, the ref give it and then VAR challenge it.

But I’ve not seen another person agree with me yet!

Brutal run of games for City if they can get past Real Madrid. After the international break they will face Liverpool, Bayern, Chelsea, Bayern, Arsenal.

5 brilliant penalties from West Ham. Slammed into the corners

What a miss from Salah, one on one with the GK and puts it out for a throw in...
Put into context against the Campbell / Godden efforts yesterday, its evidence that all Strikers miss great opportunities from time to time - TC and Godden though would have been hung, dry and quartered for wasting that one though

Thought the defender got a contact with the ball just as Salah was kicking it.

    Hahaha... Salah!!
Good to see James Trafford doing well of late from an England standpoint though
Probably the successor to Pickford for me

Liverpoo are absolutely awful aren't they? How much longer does Slot have, no-one's really speaking about it but they're not winning anything this season, unless they somehow win the Champions League, and they've spent a lot of money to not compete at all

Why aren't Southampton in their home kit?

Scienza is such a good player... Will be surprised if he's still at this level next year, really should have just put them ahead

Nice assist from Bree, even if White missed the header

Southampton  1  Arsenal  0, Bree with the assist.
ETA my Mum was not that keen on Bree during his time with us, so her glee at him getting the assist was quite unexpected.

I think thats more on the ball from Bree, than the misjudgement from White with the header actually
Lovely little cross from Stewart, who I thought was going to dither like the other Southampton chances they've had

Baffling why Bree was completely unwanted by Ed Will Still, yet has come back as first choice under Eckert.

At least with Clarke you can see why Ipswich don't need him.

Will Still... Wrong Brother... To be fair he was pretty unwanted by the Southampton fans who saw him as a Jones player

It was terrible from White, if he doesn't commit himself (and miss) then Stewart doesn't have all the time in the world to score.

  • I somehow don't think Bree will now be looking to move to us at the end of the season!
