Special word for Macca. He lost his confidence a bit mid season, which really affected him as he doesn't have pace to get him out of tricky situations.

But I thought last night barring a few wobbles he was excellent. He gets his head on everything and when confident and in his flow can be relied on as a good back up to our very good starting back 3
Even the one on the ground  :D
  • Superb victory last night. Just hope we can keep as many as Clarke, Coady, Dykes and Chambers as possible for next season all super signings. Did anyone else notice the heavy tackle by Chambers on Brittain, who rolled over and over hitting the ground with his are, managed to play the whole game. Just trying to get our player sent off, don't like that at all. Football is a mans game!

He got up to take the free kick, about 20 seconds after he realised that Chambers wasn't getting sent off.

Prague “But in the second half I really felt more comfortable than in many other games where we were defending the lead”.

    Alright for some.
I was kicking or heading every ball. So much so that as we moved into ET I got cramp in my right calf. Bloody painful.

Nathan, may I please ask that we go at least 4 up by half time Saturday? I would really appreciate it.

Just sent an email to OneBoro forum moderator “Somerset Boro” pointing out his horrendous mistake in posting that we had only previously had one clean sheet all season and that was on Saturday versus Birmingham!
    What a Wassock.🤭

I don’t think I’ve enjoyed a game so much for a long time. Well done everyone who went.

I felt more nervous at 1 - 0 then I did at 0 - 0... I was pure wobbly jelly for those last 10 minutes. Fantastic result that I didn't see coming with that defensive lineup.

They all played well but fantastic games by Cov and Doch. They harried and blocked everything.

We're 2nd in the league for clean sheets... What an incredible statistic for a team with a bottom three budget who have only just come up from League One. NJ coaches the defensive side of the game so well. If we keep building on such solid foundations, who knows what is possible. When you keep that amount of clean sheets, you don't have to score loads more goals to have a lot more success.

Not sure what’s worse, you looking on there at the time we’ve won or him on here. 😂

Isn't "kicking the ball at their own players" known as passing  :)
Well, it is the nearest we come to it with Jonesball.

I don't know if saying proud of grown men playing a sport is the way to go haha but that is how I felt at the final whistle! Proud of our efforts and a huge 3 points. I know some may still be nervous but I think personally this guaranteed us safety and we just need to finish as strong as possible to build confidence for next season.

What a superb set piece. Like a whistle it cleared 5 defenders, one of whom was dragged away from the goalmouth by Dykes' movement towards the thrower.

Most surprising was Coady's post-match comment that he didn't know Clarke possessed such a long throw, until that moment!
One by one, our recent signings will unveil skills and assets not in evidence thus far, which will justify our signing of them.

Just wait and see what Ahadme has up his sleeve!

That’s got to one of our most unbelievable results ever. Thought we’d get absolutely tonked when I saw the starting XI but it was an absolute master class of backs to the wall football.

Hero’s every one of them and the manager deserves so much credit.
Don't worry, many of us felt the same!

The guns they're firing... Because Middlesbrough... You've been SUNK!!

I'll give you a clue what the river is.

Why are our highlights from the club the bare minimum ? Sky is longer, Boro's is longer EFL is 10 mins !

Manion makes his catches look so easy, are they the same shots Kaminski would parry back out?
Thought that watching the highlights from the last two games (thought it pre season to be honest) what a difference it makes having a dominant keeper coming for crosses & one who will hold shots rather than pushing it back into the danger zone. With Kaminski in goal last night would we have come away with a 1-0 ?
