Re-watching the film for the first time in ages, it was much better than I remembered.

Very good talk by Clive Harris on a WW1 escape while John Smith was full of facts and interesting insights in the making of the film.  Now looking forward to reading his book.

Cookies and cornettos (cornetti?) went down well.

Thanks to everyone who came along and for the generous donations to the museum.

Plans for the next Musuem and Armed Forces Addicks combined film night already underway.  Probably be Charlton's South African players but we can't think of a suitable war film to compliment it.

The leg breaking scene still makes me wince.
