I just watched Moses Itauma being interviewed by Ariel Helwani.
For someone so young he really comes across well and is so humble. Nothing to dislike about him at all, which is unusual for a boxer.
I’m afraid to say you’ve never interviewed or been interviewed superclive so your opinion is unfortunately invalid…
    Hilarious.
I accept that I am unqualified to comment!

I agree with this - Moses is a well grounded young man with the world at his feet.
It was also the first time I've heard Fabio Wardley speak at length - intelligent guy who comes across really well, and with a keen sense of humour.
Wardley does talk well. I just get the feeling with him that he thinks that he's better than he actually is.

I think that applies to the vast majority of fighters.

I suppose until they get beaten and any limitations are exposed, they are entitled to feel that way.
Plenty feel that way even after that happens.

just watched the Moses fight. that uppercut was something else. would of taken down most. one of the commentators on DAZN, don't know his name, irish sounding bloke, but was upset that the ref didn't stop it before that, i thought the ref was fine and reacted as quickly as he could to stop the fight.

Overall i thought Moses was good but Franklin was not up to his level. Look forward to Moses taking on better boxers as I wasn't sure of his hands, as they were quite low for most of the fight and his footwork. though he does look like the real deal.

oh though I did box as a kid but not professionally so take my comments above as a irrelevant if you wish..

If something will keep you humble its living where him and his family do. I go past their home most days and if Kent is the garden of England and Chatham, maybe unfairly gets the reputation of being the rotten cabbage in the compost heap of the garden then Luton is the maggot in the cabbage. Which is a huge shame as it used to be a nice part of the town. Now all HMO's, shite takeaways

Moses Itauma has certainly made an impact and at 21 he has the je ne sais quoi and star dust to go far.

Slovakian mum and Nigerian dad seem to produce athletes with brother Karol also a boxer and brother Sam is playing for Sevenoaks when the games don't clash with Moses fights where you will see Samuel in the corner as part of Team Itauma.

We know Moses has a big punch and if he has a strong chin then he can have a good career amongst the big lads.

She looks like she has been run over by a bus. Right eye closing now as well.

Switched over for Chisora vs Wilder and the first thing I saw was a close up on Josh Edwards and Sonny Carey in the crowd.

In very expensive seats, so we clearly pay far too much!

This ref in the Wilder/Chisora fight is horrible.
  • Ref is ringleader of a circus act. Told to keep the punters happy by saving Del Boy every time he’s in trouble. This isn’t serious boxing obviously and a bit of an embarrassment for British boxing. Total fix to keep the show on the road.

They're doing everything to give it to Chisora. Actually embarrassing.

Gives a knockdown for an obvious slip and doesn't deduct a point for a punch thrown miles after the bell. Farce
  • Commentators are paid up cheerleaders of this farce. Boxing sadly is increasingly like an offshoot of WWE. Integrity of the sport is subservient to the narrative.

Decent night of Boxing at Olympia this evening. The Scotney vs Flores fight was great. Dubois vs Harper just started on Sky.

Flores was like the Tasmania Devil in that fight, but Scotney was class. It was a great fight

This fight was over a year ago. Benavidez fought Yarde since then and is fighting Zurdo Ramirez next month, whose only loss in 49 fights was to Bivol.

Benavidez v Ramirez is a fight I'm really excited about. Two thumpers

I give Benavidez the edge but Ramirez is well up to scratch

Benn wasn't decent if you consider the opponent and his injury in camp.

"Regis Prograis has announced his retirement from boxing following his fight with Conor Benn."

Can't wait for Benn to fight a boxer in their prime, in the year 2040.

Fury looked fine. Joshua - Fury would have a fun build up at the very least.

Absolute nonsense. If there's one fight to boycott fight fans it's this one!!
