    Well, we'd certainly have to respect that.

    But I might just ask him if he could be mistaken.  Especially if we offer Mike Franklin (Plymouth-born goalkeeper) as a potential alternative.

    Maybe Keith Peacock has a view.

    Funnily enough Graham Browne and Mike Franklin both stayed in the same club digs when they were apprentices. It was in Kinveachy Gardens SE7 where I also lived and was the reason I became close with Mike. Their digs backed onto Maryon Wilson Park at the top of the hill where there was a flatish area that we used to kick a football about. Those two were somewhat better than I.

    I knew Mike when he became involved at Catford Invicta FC.
