I booked a while ago but can’t find any confirmation. Will that matter?
If you have Gmail and search "psa" or "BKPCA" it may show up in your emails. Email says to bring the printed booking form

If not drop them a note info@thebkpca.com

Or failing that DM Elon Musk on twitter as he'll no doubt have your details if he's not already sold them to the kkk.
Thanks, logged on and found my booking.

Search for Barry Kilby on your emails or log on to your account on their website.

I presume there will be blank forms to fill out on the day for those of us without printers.
A printed sheet helps speed up the check ins but yes they will have a sheet ready for you.
I don't think I've ever been asked for the printed form in all the years I've been attending.

Me neither, even though I've always taken it.

The Norwich game hasn't helped my personal fundraising tally
West Brom (A) - 1pt, 1 goal, no academy bonus, no clean sheet = £2
Wrexham (H) - no points, no goals, no academy bonus, no clean sheet = £0
    Birmingham (H) - 3 points, 1 goal, no academy bonus, 1 clean sheet = £5
    Middlesbrough (A) - 3 points, 1 goal, no academy bonus, 1 clean sheet = £5
    Oxford (A) - 1pt, 1 goal, no academy bonus, no clean sheet = £2
Norwich (H) - no points, no goals, no academy bonus, no clean sheet = £0
    Bristol City (H)
    Watford (A)
    Preston (H)
    Running total: £14
but the official fundraising total is now over £3000, although we still have a fair way to go: https://www.goodhub.com/go/psa-testing-day
There are still roughly 60 slots available if you've not yet booked your test: https://bkpca.mypsatests.org.uk/Events/?b1f33346-f037-4f18-84c9-f2e20693edaf

"Our Tracey" was at the match last Saturday , trying to fill remaining spaces & happily accepting any donations towards the costs of the Testing Day.

Contributions via the link posted on this thread will be a huge help so please consider doing so , especially  those who have family/friends affected by this cancer, like so many of our lovely Lifers.

Tracey looked really well ( glowing !), bless her cotton socks , and it was such a pleasure to be able to share a brief chat with her.

I'm certain that she is still sorely missed by all those who were fortunate enough to meet her during those years she  worked tirelessly at our club , above & beyond her job description.

    Always loved, never forgotten x

CAST posted an article yesterday that was emailed out to members asking “Can you donate £2?” It was on the basis that if every member did so, Tracey would reach the fundraising target.

In the last 24 hours or so, over £1,000 has been donated, with the total now over £4K. Still a way to go to the target but great to see such a boost:

YOU CAN DONATE HERE  Fans can support the fundraiser by clicking here.

You can also register for a test yourself here (but hurry as most slots are now taken:

    https://bkpca.mypsatests.org.uk/Events/?b1f33346-f037-4f18-84c9-f2e20693edaf

The simple blood test checks the levels of PSA which can provide early warning of prostate cancer. The whole process just requires a few minutes pre-match, with the entrance via West Stand reception. Volunteers will be on hand to direct you. Results are provided on email within a few days of the test. If the results indicate the need, you will receive information on how to seek further investigation. It costs just £15 to register for the test.

Around 50 spaces remain for the club's annual PSA testing at The Valley on Saturday, April 11th ahead of the men’s first-team's fixture against Preston North End.

Supporters from both Charlton and Preston are eligible to book their slot, with almost 450 of the 500 available spaces already booked up for the matchday. Supporters can book one of the remaining slots now by clicking here.

Just checked the booking site and there's only 40 slots left, so if you're planning on booking you should probably do that here ASAP. It's great to see that the @castrust mailout a few days ago has boosted the fundraiser to just over four and a half grand, but that means we're still roughly three grand short,  so if you can chip in a bit to boost the coffers that would be helpful: https://www.goodhub.com/go/psa-testing-day

After the Bristol City game, I'm now up to the subsidy for one test
Bristol City (H) - no points,  1 goal, no academy bonus, no clean sheet = £1
    Watford (A)
    Preston (H)
    Running total: £15
but while the official fundraising total is now over £4600, there's still quite a big shortfall with less than a week to go, so if you are able to contribute please go here: https://www.goodhub.com/go/psa-testing-day
There's only 16 slots left, so if you've not yet booked your test, you'd better get a move on: https://bkpca.mypsatests.org.uk/Events/?b1f33346-f037-4f18-84c9-f2e20693edaf

I'm almost tempted to give Godden's goal against Watford an academy bonus, given I'm sure he said he'd been to the community sessions at some point, but that might get expensive against Preston :)
Bristol City (H) - no points,  1 goal, no academy bonus, no clean sheet = £1
    Watford (A) - 1pt, 1 goal, no academy bonus, no clean sheet = £2
    Preston (H)
    Running total: £17

Unfortunately the fundraiser has stalled again, so if you are able to contribute please go here: https://www.goodhub.com/go/psa-testing-day
There's only 8 slots left, so if you've not yet booked your test, I'd do it now: https://bkpca.mypsatests.org.uk/Events/?b1f33346-f037-4f18-84c9-f2e20693edaf

I don’t know why they insist that you must print out your form, haven’t done for years and have never been asked for it. In fact the bloke in front of me had his printed off, as he walked off for his test, they called him back and asked for his printed form to throw it in the bin.

    All went well.

When I left at 2.45 there were only about 15 no shows.

There was a big rush around 2.00pm so a queue built up but it was cleared after a short while

Josh Friedman popped in, not for a test, while Rodwell, Elliot, Carter, Curtus Fleming and Mr Leaburn all got tested

Saw a lot of lifers, hi to everyone.
  • Normally have the test results by now, nothing so far.......

The ladies can see your name on the form and they can pick the form from the table for your test more quickly.

You don't. Please don't confuse people. Checking nearly 500 samples takes time. You will get an email when they have the result.
