As a lifelong Charlton fan myself, I’m incredibly proud to be bringing you An Evening with ‘Super’ Clive Mendonca at the Meridian Sports & Social Club on Saturday 25th April 2026 — and with less than 3 weeks to go, the excitement is building fast!

As a fellow Addick, it’s important to me that this event is accessible to all supporters. I know money is tight at the moment, so we’ve made every effort to keep ticket prices as affordable as possible.

Clive has sent me this personal message for all Charlton supporters:

"I’m proper looking forward to the upcoming night and spending some time with the fans. I’ve got a lot of affection for the Charlton supporters – it was a cracking period in my career and one I’ll always look back on fondly.

It’ll be class to chat about the old days and, of course, that unforgettable day at Wembley – it doesn’t get much better than that!

Hopefully as many of you as possible can get yourselves along and we can have a beer or two – it’s shaping up to be a special night. I’ll be taking questions on the night about my career and my time at Charlton, so make sure you come up with a few good ones.

    I just want to clarify that the use of 'Super' was never intended to be disrespectful in any way — quite the opposite. Clive is a hero of mine and someone I have huge admiration for.

    All promotional material has been approved by Clive himself prior to launch, so everything has been done with his full support.

    I m o, we would never have got to the Prem without Mendonca .. I would love to be there .. BUT .. he's still my all time favourite CAFC player (with Firmani a close second) after 65 years as a fan

    I went on the ticket site after this comment expecting them to be a hundred quid or more, I think they're a reasonable price.

    Yes, General Admission is just £24 for a 3 hour event. VIP is £45 but you get early entry at 6pm and you can chat to Clive and take photos. You will also get a signed program and poster with the VIP package.

    I have been chatting with Clive tonight about his Charlton Dream Team. He has picked his best 11 and 3 Subs. I was surprised with a few of the choices and all will be revealed on the night!

    This just popped up on my insta feed. Surprised as he never e.g. did a Charlton TV appearance etc.

    Good to see him getting involved with something so he can feel the love of the fans a bit.

    If it was Steve Jones then there'd be a nice line in "merch" up for grabs. Obviously you'd pay and not receive it, but it's the thought that counts.
