Bits I caught on the train were pretty good, sounds like it went to pot after that. Should I go catch another?
Sod the game... What train was it?

Our passing forward has become woefull, Bell Ramsay, Doherty in particular, but most others have had a brain fade as well.
It has given the initiative to Preston.

Started bright, but turned to shite.
Last 20 mins, our press has been sloppy and our passing appalling. Need to get back in the groove.

I am totally unimpressed by Chambers, what is he good for? Absolutely nothing!
Played a great pass to put TC through

Started well, created some good openings, last 15 have been awful, could easily be losing. Can't say anyone is playing well, it's all a bit meh.

No meaningful effort since we scored. Meanwhile, Oxford and Blackburn kept their lead. Very worrying. Team never seems set up to win a game... Over to you, Nathan.

Opposite of a normal Charlton performance, we look decent going forward and dodgy at the back.

That was the best we've played in the opening 20 mins for a long, long time. Could've had two or three.

Their goal came out of the blue and since then we've not really had a look in.

Personally I don’t see why Coventry is always the one to drop out, I’d rather see doc on the bench and Cov in there dictating play allowing JRC and Sonny to push on

Chambers has played some decent forward passes today but I'm not sure where he's actually meant to be playing and I don't think he is either but I doubt that's down to him. He is a bit all over the place though.

He started well when he came, then got better over the first month as he accustomed to the Champ. Has since peaked and seems to be on a bit of a downward slope. Hope it's just a blip and not the full Charltonification.
  • Get Godden on as soon as possible. Carey also needs his shooting boots on for the late winner.

I take what you mean, but those first 20 mins were the first time we looked like we had a midfield in a long time.

I mentioned before the game that at Watford he played a lot in the middle,  and he's done the same today. We have looked very open down the flanks.

Brownie wants Fullah on at some point
Bring him on at half time for Carey.

Another game Carey is totally anonymous in

He would need to be more positionally disciplined and a louder organiser for that to work

Think they will, last spot is between Oxford and Portsmouth

If they did, will be interesting to see if they storm league one or implode under the debt
