Really had some bad luck not to nick an equaliser, but for more than half of that game we looked so so poor. Poor passing, poor marking, poor choices. And all that after looking so good early doors. Really depressed by that.0

That sickening feeling.
That inevitable feeling.
That de-ja vu feeling.
That pissed off feeling.
That boot the cat feeling...
Feelings, nothing more than,
Feelings!4 -
Blown it i feel now2

Doesn't need an excuse. Mr. Faultless (aka Mr. Thoughtless). Bluffed in, and found out. No idea how to set up a team to win. Bristol City had the right idea. Jones, depending on the results of others..welling1986 said:What excuse is Jones going to come out with today, just not good enough sleep walking into relegation1 -
Fullah may be one for the future but he is not ready for this league. Should not be taking punts on youngsters when we're not yet safe26

We’re better away because we soak up pressure and counter.Callumcafc said:

They've just managed a point at the league leaders, while we've failed to beat 3 teams with nothing to play for. How is it a good time exactly?Leuth said:Like I said, our survival comes down to the Wednesday game. We have them at a good time

We’ll rightly be favourites but that doesn’t mean it won’t be nervy. For all our faults, I still think we’re a much better side than Wednesday. If they sit in I think we’ll really struggle.4 -
Still it was great to see Berry come on and influence the game with zero impact.30

Bollocks and bluster.
Need to win at Sheff weds as can't see us getting anything from Ipshit and Hell.

What should have been a simple job across the line is now looking like us scrabbling to avoid it.
absolutely ridiculous to have let it get like this, but no real gameplay once again. Very become cocky and complacent!
preston weren’t any good, but we made them much better over the pitch. Ramsey had another stinker, whilst bell didn’t do much better.Midfield so slow and lethargic, we missed Coady! No way we can continue to just have dykes up top2 -
The way they are set up. The method used to "motivate".Jayajosh said:We’ve only scored more than one goal five times this season, let that sink in. We are ‘one goal Chartlon’ and the Championship’s gift.0 -

Do not think we are learning anything.ForeverAddickted said:Frustrating performance really... We looked as good as what we have been this season inside the first 20mins, took a deserved lead and then let Preston back into it with a bit of a sloppy goal... The difference taking the lead in the last two games compared to Bristol City and Preston has been like night and day, for some reason our ability to get in the way of everything has just deserted us again.Second Half hinged on whoever scored first, we had chances, Preston had the possession and got the lucky break to seal it, and then were able to shut up shop again. This Division is all about tight margins as we're learning the hard way.2 -
Wendies and their fans will be well up for it next week.8

Are there actually three teams worse than us ?6
-
That was awful. Preston were shit, what does that make us? So angry with that performance once they scored their 1st goal,we just went to shit. Wtf has Carey got to do/not do to be dropped, hes been shit for weeks. Such an avoidable defeat. Think NJ got his subs all wrong today. Just the 5 point gap now. Everyone below us bar Leicester showing grit and fight. Not good.5

We need to ideally get 3 more points across the next 4 games to be sure of survival. Next game we play the worst team around and it’s away from home where we’re weirdly good. Even within that we’re 5 points clear so mainly we’re looking at Oxford not going on an insane winning run in their last 4 games. It would be nice to have been safe by now but we still have work to do. The positive is some of the panicked reactions on here are genuinely hilariously entertaining. Real lack of fortitude from some fans, back the team and see the season out, all these posts about how we’re definitely going down do not reflect well.9

All seemed a bit toothless today, not unlike the last home game.
Not a prediction - but 4 more performances like that will secure a place in the bottom 3.4 -
Wednesday appeared to play with much spirit today. Their motivation seems to be "go out and try, at last, to get another win". Target? To end up with positive points. Recently, they seem to be playing positively, with an objective. Over to you, NJ...cantersaddick said:Bollocks and bluster.

Players like Ramsay and Bell going off the boil at the wrong time….Ramsay scares the shit out of me at times…that second goal was awful…can’t play Fullah unless we are safe….3

Have to win next week. Run in after that is tough.4

Unbeaten in three and I could see them beating IpswichForeverAddickted said:mendonca said:We'll be okay, have you seen Portsmouth's run-in?
😮Beating Middlesbrough isn't the end of the world, given how they've fallen off a cliff with their promotion pushBut just need to hope that this is more of a flash in the pan for Portsmouth rather than rejuvination0 -

We've had the opportunities to put this to bed and still have more chances to secure championship football next season. If we balls it up we deserve to go down.3

We are 25-1 to go down currently, that feels massive odds7

Only the BIG F-ING KENYAN can save us now5

Wednesday no banker either. They looked pretty good today at Coventry.1

1 point from a (very much) possible 9.I think we’re still safe but this is terrible form.4

Worrying defeat. At home against a mid table team with nothing to play for and on terrible form in the second half of the season is near enough the best you can hope for and we’ve still failed to get anything. I don’t see a single point from the final 3 games and if we only get to 50 it’s going to be very very tight. Next week is going to be a really tough game as we’re awful when the onus is on us to break a team down.3
-
Be honest, if you were told in July we’d be 5 points above the drop having never gone in the relegation zone with 4 left to play would you have taken that? I’m pretty sure most of us would27
-
That Preston save at the end sums it up…defender tries to clear and going in and hits their keeper who does not know where it is….then you start thinking our luck is running out…simple now…if we lose next week I can see us going down3

I’m not trying to dig Ibby out but if TC had given the balls away in the positions he did today he would’ve got disgusting abuse. They scored from 1 and could’ve got another 2 from him losing possession in terrible areasCroydon said:Fullah may be one for the future but he is not ready for this league.
